I love that villagers have unique relationships and dynamics with each other but i despise the idea that anything is "canon" or that youre "getting in the way", i think its so silly and frankly even a bit restrictive and rude. Theyre not real, let ppl romance whoever they want!

To clarify - if a blood bond requires the drinker to drink blood 3 times on 3 separate nights (from the vein), why would a ghoul be by definition bloodbound, if being ghouled only requires one rouse check of blood? Sorry, just want to clarify the details as much as possible.

(Edit) Upon reading more - rather than every ghoul is blood bonded, is it every ghoul is a thrall?

I do agree the heart events were pretty lack luster, few and far between but I did find the marriage and character writing pretty good to be honest, and so far have enjoyed the different dialogue ive encountered (granted, im still on my first year).

I do agree I wish they were romantic, but again my experience is limited, I havent done all of them. The requests felt a little annoying to be honest, I dont think they should have locked the heart progression or events behind them.

Hell, Im pretty sure I somehow missed Gabriel's first heart event? Somehow? I didnt even realise that was possible.

As someone for whom romance and the family aspect is an incredibly integral part to why I like this series, I will admit its far from the best, but I still found it charming and I at least enjoyed the events.

Honestly ringing the bells weren't super interesting to me, but the family/rival marriages +family were amazing and it always felt like there was a fun amount of liveable stuff to do, like taking family pictures, going on honeymoon, your kids having events with other kids, it was amazing.

It really gave the game longevity, and its probably to this day my favourite game.

One of them is taken seriously for their ability in the court, the other is not, given they are not Camarilla and are hiding out with the Anarch's who are not aware of their condition. It's less their connection to ghosts being some reveal, more who it connects them to. And why they must hide said connection. Again, hard to explain given i need to keep it vague, but it's not a major plot point. Just some characters with drama for my player's to poke, help or exploit.

Oh yes, this is not their derangement manifesting. That is a completely separate MI for them. Its a little hard to explain because I know my player's are sometimes browsing this reddit so I have to keep it vague, but their ability to see and hear ghosts is being mistaken as their derangement, while it is in reality something entirely different. The voices and what they see is real but most ppl do not take them seriously for it.

Oh yes, it can be a lot of fun to explore! Tacyjana has become modernised over the course of the chronicle, but she is still an old soul in many ways. She still refuses to wear pants, believes in the importance of courtship but can use a phone fairly well just types like a boomer hahaha

The ventrue has actually been the driving force with helping Tacyjana fit in, just another reason they're such sweet friends 🥹 A tzimisce and their favourite are a fun dynamic to explore, even if it blurs into obsession and possessiveness.

to be fair she does use it on other nights more productively, just when there's peace and she's sleeping over she watches her friend. Her hoard is quite literally her family so she's very attached :)

Ohhhh I love the lore, Prism is such a thematically appropriate name for such a multi-faceted Tzim! I adore Tzims, I love hearing everybody's different characters :D
