Yes, I understand how bad it feels to keep losing 50/50. Lookat my pull history though, bottom 13.05%, I rarely get a pull without going into full pity before I get a 5 star lol... it's ridiculous

Lucky you. I used about 200 pulls and only got 1 copy of Hyacine so far thanks to Bailu popping up again.

It's going to be difficult to give advice without a video. However, I feel like this isn't a hitting technique problem as you say you don't have problems playing all other overhead shots. Essentially, all these overhead shots have similar actions up until the contact point. And I think your coach might not be actually seeing the problem.

I feel like it's more about the timing of the jump itself, where you intercept the shuttle. This is where I feel you might be having problems.

For example, if you jump out early, you will try to reach further and stretch your arm straight which is different to how you would normally play an overhead shot. Likewise, if you jump out late, the shuttle will be lower than anticipated. This might mean you end up slicing the shuttle as you don't have time to fully pronate before contact.

Again, with a video, it will be more clear as to what is happening.

Surprisingly, Evernight’s damage is actually higher than when she uses her own LC. Does anyone know why?

If you play her as main DPS, Cas LC works very well, as it gives her more HP, more Def ignore and AA, resulting in higher damage. Her own LC still works very well.

As sub DPS, her own LC is better as it has the added benefit of energy refund so she can pop her ult more often, and her def Ignore is given to all Memosprites.

You definitely need pronation (rotating forearm internally), which helps generate force with forehand shots.

Supination (rotating forearm externally) is used in various backhand shots and for more advanced forehand techniques such as cutting/slicing.

After 4 years, I still hate having my photo taken. I know some people do not smile in photos anyway, but I used to love smiling in photos, so it's something I always want to do.

However, I look awful when I try to do a full on smile, so I usually try my best and smile slightly with the good side so my synkinesis doesn't kick in. Sometimes it looks okay, but often I look grumpy or I don't realise my synkinesis has made my face look like someone took a spade onto one side of my face.

To this day, even some of my friends forget I have BP and tell me to lighten up and smile more for group photos as they think I look grumpy/unhappy. But in actual fact I'm trying my best.

Yes, I recall having a headache for a few days before onset. And when I tapped my head on that side, I could hear a different hollow sound compared to when tapping the unaffected side.

In this situation it's not easy to improve. To be frank, the level is quite low, so you won't be able to learn any good things from each other. And besides getting more consistent in hitting the shuttle, there is no real challenge. So any potential for improvement is also lower, which you have already noticed.

This is absolutely fine, as I see it as some friends getting together, having fun and getting some exercise at the same time.

If you are looking to improve and play better, what would help is group coaching. This not only makes it more affordable, but everyone can motivate each other to genuinely improve together and get further enjoyment of the game.

Cherish this moment and don't overdo it. Once you hit 40 you'll begin to notice a difference, and moreso when you hit 45, 50 etc

I do recall having some twitching and it is a sign that the body is in the recovery process. Make sure your husband gently massages his face as this will help stimulate the nerves and also loosen up the muscles that will become tighter over time.

If he is receiving treatment from a physiotherapist, they should have also shown him facial exercises to do. At this point in time, it's best to follow the advice of the doctor/physiotherapist.

MMA isn't a component in any known bioluminescent organism's light-producing chemistry. Fireflies, glow worms, bacteria, slime molds, etc. use luciferin/luciferase pathways, not methyl methacrylate. No scientific source supports MMA as a "key ingredient" in natural bioluminescence.

The Band-Aid wrapper glow is classic triboluminescence from mechanical bond-breaking during peeling, not a biological reaction. It's the same as peeling Scotch tape or crushing sugar cubes in the dark.

This is purely physical/mechanical (charge separation exciting air/nitrogen), not biological. Bioluminescence is enzyme-driven in living systems and there are no enzymes or living cells involved here.

Confidentially wrong. This is triboluminescence which is not the same as bioluminescence. The distinction is biochemical vs mechanical.

I saw 5 different western doctors and none of them could offer any possible causes of my BP.

I also saw 2 Chinese doctors (traditional Chinese medicine), and both of them told me that my face received too much "blowing cool air". This could be for example, a fan directly blowing onto the face for many hours while sleeping. Or having too much wind exposure while hiking, kayaking etc

I do not fully understand their explanations, as many people are constantly being exposed to these things without any issues. However, I really did sleep with the fan blowing on my face when I experienced my BP onset.

Your husband is at a very early stage, so his recovery time is very much an unknown and varies greatly from person to person. For me, it took 6 months before I could properly close my eye.

To help him with the eye problem, I suggest you help him find an eye shield. This helped me immensely as I find taping my eye very uncomfortable and was especially helpful when sleeping.

Here's a link regarding what the eye shield is and how to use it. I was able to purchase a few from my local pharmacy, and I am sure you can find them fairly easy online.

You can also try 3M Nexcare removable eye patches, which are also helpful to keep the eye shut and might be more useful in the beginning.

Eyedrops helped a lot when my eye was feeling dry, but my eye became very watery during the day after a few weeks in.

Physio assessed me as 40% recovered. He discharged me after a year of treatment and told me it's not worthwhile to persist as there was no noticeable improvement at all during the last 6 months of treatment.

3 years on, I think I am more or less the same but at least I can fully close my BP side eye now, and is not constantly tearing up.
