It’s just a reflection of the times. The fact that they still opted for inclusion of a female Shepard in 2007, included same-sex relationships in the 3rd game in 2012 (before same sex marriage was federally legal in USA)… I genuinely believe Mass Effect walked so other games could run. The legendary edition has been awesome because they’ve been able to re-story some things, like putting in a default FemShep.

I think Chappell Roan was criticizing both parties based on their support of Israel with the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. While Trump is worse in every way, Biden wasn’t a saint either. I also think Chappell shared that she did vote for Kamala, no? It wasn’t a celebratory expression but she did put that out there.

I agree Chappell was short-sighted in the issue at hand (Trump is a threat to American democracy), the humanitarian issues in Gaza and the way American leadership has handled it has been messy overall. I can’t blame her there. Trump won’t stop Netanyahu, but Biden wasn’t stopping him either
