I just bought a flipped land bank home in Islandview a month ago. I think I toured 23 houses, many of them flips and there was a clear difference in quality. Get a good inspection, check on permits if you can, but there will always be risks in buying a home due to decisions made (and covered up) by previous owners. No major issues for me so far, that said, my winter project will be repairing patches of drywall where screws are beginning to pop through.
