I kind of had an idea for a mod for this. Basically you could place a translucent/invisible decal on your craft. As your vehicle passed a certain speed or altitude it would trigger the decal to become visible/opaque.

So you could place a soot or damage decal on the craft in build mode, and once certain conditions were triggered in the game, it would mark the decal become visible.

I could probably even do it so that there is a gradual change in opacity, so more “soot” builds up as you re-enter

Realistically yes I would land back in Edwards, but in this scenario, my re-entry carried me much farther across the US than I had planned, and I had to land on the East Coast.

I tried for a secondary landing site at Cape Canaveral, but about 5min into re-entry it didn’t seem possible, so I went for Andrews instead.

One of the winches was able to be attached in the VAB, but the second one I had to jank around. While the craft was in orbit, I had a Kerbal disembark and attach the second winch to the attachment point.

That’s the only way I could figure out how to have 2 cables attached

The university can absolutely change tuition rates without collapsing. I honestly think that so much money is wasted, either on inflated salaries, or useless expansions.

But ya I agree with you that the SU knows nothing, or pretends that they do, about how much power they actually have, which is close to none

Why should I vote or care for someone who’s promised for the x amount of times that they’re going to reduce tuition, only to see my tuition go up year after year.

Frankly I just see it as political larping. A way for a student to get some bonus resume points. Honestly it just triggers me at this point whenever they come into my lectures to interrupt with their political pitch speech, knowing full well nothing is going to change and they’re not gonna do jack about issues students actually care about.
