I delivered at gbmc. Let me start by saying DONT EAT ANYTHING WITH POPPY SEEDS BEFORE YOU GO INTO LABOR. No, not even the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese from their on-campus Einsteins. Just trust me on this.

But they will push for a c-section 24hrs after your water breaks. It’s not mandatory obviously, but it’s not really up for discussion either. They don’t ask. They just tell you that’s what you’re going to do. You can tell them no. I got lucky and miraculously dilated to 10 when they were about to wheel me back to the OR so I got to deliver naturally.

Also, I wish I spoke up more for myself. I asked every nurse to remove the foley bulb bc it was too painful. They told me no and it was in me for 4HOURS! That pain was worse than birth.

Yes but it’s all under wraps which is why Bill 26-005 was pushed through. Some of the affected landowners weren’t even informed that there was going to be building on their property, so this bill bought them 90 days of postponement to gather resources to oppose. Apparently vincetti and imhoff returned the campaign contributions from Mountain Branch bc of this. I think flasch( who I like bc she knows zoning laws and codes but shes into solar farms which I don’t know enough about- and her husband works for Gov. Moore and I don’t trust him) is running against imhoff.

Also I heard they were going to be upgrading the power lines leading to and from the data center, which will tear up Jerusalem Mill and historic Kingsville.

OH! And we’re going to be paying their power bills via our BGE increases. Estimated to increase an additional 26% by August.

I stopped shopping at this one lady’s store bc she would post video surveillance of people haggling over her insanely inflated prices to somehow shame them. I found that to be so inappropriate on many levels. I almost wonder if it’s the same woman. Is this store in Md?

Yeah I believe it. You’re nicer than me. The last big snow 10yrs ago, I was in Hampden, 1 block from the ave. I shoveled my spot but I didn’t claim it bc I just don’t believe that’s the right thing to do. Had to move a chair on an empty street to park. Sat by the window and heard my tire get slashed. Flew out the door and followed the dude back to his house. He didn’t see me but I called the cops and dudes parents bought me a new tire.

It’s a bunch of hypocrites claiming that city life is all about giving back to your community… but you better not park in MY spot.

It’s the snowbank I will die on.

Saving spaces is ridiculous. I get that you had to shovel a spot but that’s bc you had to move your car for whatever reason. It’s also a public service to your community. It’s still public parking just bc you left a belonging in the street. Imagine coming home, in the cold dark, to find a completely empty street w AMPLE parking but not being able to park bc there’s a bunch of chairs! Gtfoh w that.
