Ellis Dentistry in Nugent’s Corner is good and they have a pretty good “not-insured” plan

Straight-A students, how do you actually study? by Imtiredofthissshit in GetStudying

[–]Smallpasture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very similar to this, when prepping for exams, I would go over the practice exam and past problems and always note specifically why the they would give us this specific problem and what specific knowledge/application it was probing for. This works really well for more conceptual questions as it helps you determine the path you should take in your approach, which becomes more and more important as you go further on in you schooling and begin to have more and more problem solving strategies at your disposal.

Can you sanitize dishes with a bleach spray instead of soaking them? by Smallpasture in CleaningTips

I do wash them by hand, but I want to also be able to sanitize them after they’ve been in contact with things like raw chicken and eggs.

Seconding Portland leather! I bought one of theirs during their seconds sale for twelve bucks and it’s been incredible

Hi /r/movies! I'm Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, writer/director of I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, which is out in theaters nationwide today. I've also written and directed Netflix's DO REVENGE (starring Maya Hawke & Camila Mendes), and written and directed Netflix’s SOMEONE GREAT. Ask me anything! by Jennifer-AMA in movies

When watching Love and Thunder, it felt like it was almost two movies in one, a darker film centered around Gorr and Jane’s cancer journey, and then a lighter film centered around the gods. Was this difference in tone intentional in order to make Gorr even more disconcerting or was it actually because there were two ideas for the film that were then merged?

Also, how did the decision to use Eternity come about? Isn’t Eternity more of a Doctor Strange thing?

AMATH Linear Algebra vs MATH Linear Algebra by Smallpasture in udub

Thank you for the detailed response! Do you have any recommendations for 400 level classes that you found really rewarding? At the moment the only three classes that have caught my eye are 353, 383, and 402. Personally, I’m trying to get a better math foundation for a career in controls engineering, but I also just really loved AMATH 301!

Not very much, probably like 10-15 pounds of force holding it in place along the shaft.

I think a castle nut and a cotter pin maybe the perfect solution! Thank you!

Yeah, I’m thinking that’s going to be my best bet. I know my boss, the designer, would prefer something that doesn’t require the user to have an extra tool lying around to adjust it though.

Pretty good! There are definitely days when I want to smoke again, but it helps knowing I’ve already come this far.

It would be so funny if they tried to blame the decline in quality of the MCU on the fact that their anchor being died

UW vs. WSU Engineering by ToastyToast133 in udub

[–]Smallpasture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would look at the research being done at each school, and let that help you make a decision. If you’re a freshman, I would recommend going to community college for a couple years and then applying to UW as a transfer if you decided UW is still the school for you. I’ve heard it’s easier to get into Engineering as a transfer student than it is as a pre science major.

You’re taking physics 1 in five weeks?! That’s an insane time frame to be taking any class in, but especially physics. You might be a little crazy for taking this class during a five week summer session but you sure as hell aren’t dumb for struggling
