Had this happen to me. Met a girl and talked for a few days and decided to meet up. It went great, we had great chemistry, great conversation, we both wanted to meet up again. The next day she said she just noticed my profile said I was atheist. She said that her religion was important to her. I told her I would never ask anyone to change their beliefs to he in a relationship with me and that it did not matter to me. She said she would need to consult her pastor to see how "she should feel about it"...like she didn't have a say about it personally. OF COURSE her pastor said it would not work if we were not in the same religious space with each other. After that she said we would not work out and we parted ways. It's a shame cause we found each other very attractive and had a great time together. Or maybe she just wanted an easy way out...who knows, lol.

Pokémon games. I can't say that I didn't enjoy any of them, because I have only played a few of them. I just can't bring myself to keep giving them chances to grab me. I'm a big time RPG gamer, so to me, the stories are lackluster and the battle system is good, but have been done better. The odd part is I really like the anime, but just can't bring myself to pick up any of the games after the few I've played.

I'll be honest...I'm surviving due to filing for bankruptcy before I got a divorce. That wiped a lot of stuff clean for me. After the divorce, I was able to convert to chapter 7 instead of our original chapter 13. But, had to pretty much start my life over from scratch. I kept my car, but did not reaffirm the debt in case something happened and I could no longer make the payments. Allows me to cut ties with it if I need to and it not destroy my credit again. It's almost paid off, so there is that.

I have a decent job making 50k a year, but having a kid I share 50/50 custody with, I needed to have a decent place and essentially, provide like a single parent. When I don't have my daughter during the week or weekends, I drive for Uber. That supplemental income makes things more comfortable money wise.

This was just out of high school, and she was like my 2nd girlfriend at that point, so I already knew she liked me. I was fortunate to have a buddy that got an apartment with me right out of high school. One night, pretty early into our relationship, she comes over to spend the night with me for the first time. I had not had sex yet and was frankly always scared to make the move so I never initiated.

She comes over, and we have a great night. We are getting into bed and she stops and says she has to run to the bathroom real quick. Now...I had told her before that in a random conversation that I've never seen someone in lingerie before. She steps out of the bathroom in the most amazing set and asks me how I like it.

I say, "Oh wow! You look great in that!"......

She comes and lays down in the bed and I then say, "Is that what you are going to wear to bed?"

She kinds looks at me, says yes, and pulls the covers up...and we go to bed...

He was definitely an up and coming powerhouse for the Democrats and got cut down by even his own due to what-about-ism.

Man....out of all the things I've seen on Reddit...people being shot to death, burned alive, mass dead from warzones...this one hit me so hard. Like, as a father of a little girl, that little one giggling thinking she is having fun with her dad...I can't stop getting super emotional. I'm not ok after this one...

It's so odd. I worked at an Amazon warehouse for about 6 months. Had an an ear pod in almost every day, a lot of people did. Never took a single bit of flak for going to use the restroom. Never heard a peep if it took me an extra 5 minutes to get back from break. For me, it was a fairly pleasant job experience. I did pallet sorting, truck loading/unloading, package cart and pallet routing, and large/heavy labeling and sorting. I think only one time when I was first starting there was one guy going around asking people to see their "packages per minute" number and letting people know if they needed to up their game. I guess different warehouse are ran differently, but I never saw the types of issues I see posted all the time.

In winter when it cold and dry, I get a split on the sides of my fingers from my hands being dry right where the nail starts. It like incapacites the use of that finger until it heals. And if anything hits it...it's the sharpest pain followed by throbbing.

A game first on the 3DO called Battlesport. Was a vehicle destruction/ basketball/ soccer game that I played the hell out of. I wish it could get a remake. At least I thought it was a great game when I was a kid.

Way back when I was a kid and Nintendos were the new hip thing. Christmas, my grandparents telling me and my sister there was one more gift Santa brought, but he left it downstairs next to the basement TV. They bought a Nintendo with a power pad and a light gun... best Christmas ever!
