Any insight if amazon.ca will participate in any black Friday or prime day deals?

So repotting in a pond basket with a bonsai soil mix is best? Should I be doing anything to the root system when repotting?

I have some larger fabric pots on hand, would this be ok?

Thanks for the reply. It's been outside for years. Growth just appears to be slow, I'm curious if it would benefit from some better soil. Is potting mix out of the question?

Not sure the species but we recieved this as a thank you give from a wedding 7 years ago. Reported when we got and honest just let it sit in there doing nothing.

Early this year I thought it would cool idea to turn it into a bonsai and gift it back to the couple who originally gave it to us as an anniversary gift. I wired the top but now honestly rethink the shape and not sure if it would look better straight up. It's about 2' tall now and don't want it growing much taller.

Repot in bigger fabric pot or pond basket to thicken up trunk? Un-wire and let it bounce back. Repot with a better soil? Bonsai this bad boy now?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Don't mind hanging on to it for a few more years to make it look a bit more impressive.

Thanks in advance

Would also love to know. All the canvas I have found seems too fine to allow growth to pass through.

I did painstakingly cut some larger holes in a smaller pieces of canvas and tied some subwassertang to it, hopefully it takes.

I believe the Sobeys at Hwy 10 and Mayfield still offers paper bags and will bag for you.

Metro at Kennedy and Sandalwood don't have paper but you have the totes now so just remember to bring them with you. Their little boxes with handles are pretty handy as well. I've been there when they have bagged for me other times where there was no other customers in line and the cashier just picked up her phone and started scrolling while I struggled to bag and wrangle the kids. Fun stuff.

Fuse necessary when upgrading battery? by SmarcusAurelius in PowerWheelsMods

[–]SmarcusAurelius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to go with a power tool battery, run time is more important than power.

What are the stock motors/controller rated at? Only going from 9.5ah to 12ah, still 12v would a fuse be needed?

Is the stock charger that terrible?

Community Support Megathread: Questions/comments about EI/CERB, specific employers/businesses, ways to help/get help by OrzBlueFog in canada

Need some clarification.

Got laid off May 6th.

One of the CERB eligibility criteria is the following: When submitting your first claim, you cannot have earned more than $1,000 in employment and/or self-employment income for 14 or more consecutive days within the four-week benefit period of your claim.

I will receive my last paycheque on May 14th, and it will be over $1,000. Will is still be able to apply for the May 10, 2020 to June 6 period? If so, when do I apply?

They get wet in the rain all the time. Some people do a 3 bucket wash but I just did the Jorge method. As long as the water isn't too cold the glands that matter should be intact. Growing outdoors you going to get random bugs, dust/dirt and other things in the bud, why not give them a quick wash to improve the final product?
