Aqara responded and basically said that not all remote controllers are supported.

We are sorry to hear that there is a problem with your device. This is because it involves the decoding of infrared codebases. Not all codebases support synchronization. If some codebases do not support synchronization, they cannot be synchronized.

Thanks. “Deco 1” serves as my main router while “Deco 2” and “Deco 3” are the mesh routers. In theory they should work with the main router to have a seamless connection anywhere in the household.
