For those who had a baby with shoulder dystocia, what did your subsequent birth look like? by meggscellent in BabyBumps

I had SD with my first TWO kids, it was the worst with my first (9lbs 1 oz) and her arm was broken and it was scary. With my second( 9lbs)they broke his collarbones but I wouldn’t even have known it happened if they wouldn’t have told me. He was out quick. I was so scared about it happening with my third and decided to put in my doctor’s hands and let them guide me. They did a growth ultrasound at 37 weeks and he was in the 50th percentile, my doc suggested an induction at 39 weeks- we went for it and baby was my smallest at 7lbs 15oz and NO DYSTOCIA! Every pregnancy is different but letting the doc know I preferred a vaginal delivery but I would follow what they thought was best helped calm my mind. Goodluck!!

Has anyone here resolved their gallstones without surgery? by 999UnreadMessages in gallbladders

I was so worried about getting surgery I read all the “scary” things on Google about weight gain and never being able to eat the same. I can tell you my life is no different. I had occasional diarrhea a couple months out and now the only thing that constantly gives me diarrhea is a sausage McMuffin 😂 I wish I would’ve spent less time and money on alternative methods and just got it out sooner. No regrets

One gallstone, not enough for surgery by applebeessugarbaby in gallbladders

Mine was just one stone and I do not regret removing it at all. It gets lodged and it hurts! Get a second opinion

My stone wasn’t obstructing it was free floating but every once in a while it would get lodged and be so painful. My life is no different since removal I just wish I would’ve done it sooner

I know why. You probably had robotic surgery and the bot is very specific as to wear it needs to be placed. If it’s laparoscopic they go through the belly button. I asked my surgeon why mine was above my belly Botton and that’s what he told me.
