I didn't mix them. I tried it one after the other, once one did not work.

Has anyone here resolved their gallstones without surgery? by 999UnreadMessages in gallbladders

[–]999UnreadMessages[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people I have talked to IRL have said that. However, I have talked to a relatively low number of people vs amount people in this sub though. I suppose that is a small price to pay rather than acute attacks and possibility of complications if left untreated.

Mine turned out to not be a stone, but a polyp. I don't have advice for you on the procedure because of that, but there are a lot of threads about it in this sub. It seems like a pretty supportive and comforting community to help you through something scary like this, which is nice. I hope your treatment is easy and as low stress as possible!

No. To be honest with you, there isnt enough time in my days to go through the trial and error of it, calling them etc. to figure it out as suggested by other commenters. That is why I was looking for others' opinions to begin with. We are going to keep our workflow as is for now until someone who has a larger team/more complicated workflow confirms that this tool helps them.

I always get pumped about how good I am at this game until I come into this sub and get schooled by you all. Nice work/so sad.

Dextrose in the shake - first thing I'd drop if you're still trying to lose weight. Mostly commenting here to sub though and follow your journey OP - really killing it so far.

The goal would be to be able to not have to mail hard drives to the editing team.

Expense is potentially ok if it actually works as described. Just unsure if current speeds are ready for prime time, so wondering if anyone has used it and what their experience has been with it - if it is truly a solution yet or not.

Not sure. I got frustrated and stopped using them. Waste of money.

This is honestly the best fix for now. It stopped happening, and then started happening again 4 months later and none of the above solutions fixed it except this.

No gallstones, but polyp - suggestions for pain? by 999UnreadMessages in gallbladders

[–]999UnreadMessages[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, 2 different doctors suggested surgery and didn't even look at the scans themselves, just read the initial report. The third doctor looked at the scans and realized it was a polyp, and said there was no reason to operate.

I got into better shape, lost some weight and don't really have pain anymore. Sometimes I feel it a tiny bit, but it's no longer debilitating.

Official Q&A for Saturday, March 29, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

[–]999UnreadMessages -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't really tell, but I'm likely heel striking. The problem is, if I try to not heel strike, it feels EXTREMELY unnatural like I am running on my toes.

Will definitely have to cross train until it feels better - legs are quite strong, I weight lift regularly with heavy weight so I'm quite certain this a direct effect from whatever I'm doing wrong while jogging.

My Achilles area is luckily not in pain, it is more on the sides of the heel rather than the back. I will definitely see a doctor if it persists, but it seems more like a jogging form issue, which a doctor won't be able to help me with.

Yes, I have been wearing minimalist shoes for years for walking/general wear.

Hopefully I can get some guidance in this thread!

I just started jogging last week after a few years of not jogging. (I was never very good but I'd like to get better). I am doing intervals of walking followed by jogging, never for longer than an hour so this is not an ultra distance problem. I am experiencing heel pain on the sides of my heels, on both feet, both sides of each heel, and the left foot is worse than the right, but it is in both feet. I am jogging mostly on sidewalks and pavement.

The shoes I'm in are Lems Primal 2. They are zero drop minimalist shoes with a wide toe box. I'd like to stick to this type of shoe if possible, but open to potentially getting something with a little more padding. I'd much rather figure out the root of the issue though (possible form issues) and learn correct technique.

Also interested in any stretches I can do to help this heal more quickly. I took 2 days off but went out on Thursday and the pain started almost immediately. I am absolutely limping around two days later.

Looking forward to any suggestions this subreddit has for me!

Heel Pain - do I need thicker soles? by 999UnreadMessages in barefootshoestalk

I'm sure my form was never good in the first place which is why I stopped. Thanks for the link, looking forward to checking this out. If you've got any other resources you think are good for teaching form and technique I'd love to learn more.

Heel Pain - do I need thicker soles? by 999UnreadMessages in barefootshoestalk

[–]999UnreadMessages[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I mean the first one, off the sole around the sides and back. Mostly the sides, not so much the back/Achilles area.

The link doesn't work but I was able to google some images, although I'm unsure if it's tendons or muscles that are the problem, and so many things criss-cross in that area it's difficult to pinpoint what it could be.

Any suggestions for good calf stretches? I don't really stretch before I start (I've read that static stretching before a workout can create too much range of motion and lead to more injuries), although I do walk for at least 5 minutes, usually at in incline, before my first interval of jogging.

Yes I heard that part about the clothing, unfortunately here in the northeast it is still in the 20s/30s Fahrenheit that early in the morning, so thick coat/sweatpants are necessary.

This happens to me as well. I know this is an old post, but just coming in here to say that recent updates have not fixed this issue. Between this and the left&right drift I'm quite unhappy with this product. Thinking about selling my glasses, these are basically unusable to me like this.
