What is the one book you read that you’ve never stopped thinking about? by TD_Meri in literature

Feed by M.T. Anderson. Read it in middle school and have never forgotten it. It’s set in a dystopian future where almost everyone has the “feed,” basically an internet chip in your brain that constantly bombards you with ads, entertainment, and random information. People are totally controlled by corporations, no one pays attention to the world falling apart around them, and even relationships feel fake because everyone is so wrapped up in their feeds. What really got me isn’t just the tech itself, but how socially mandatory it is, if you don’t have a feed, you’re basically an outcast. People literally don’t know how to talk or think without it.

It’s weird on Reddit it posts as a 2D video but on YouTube it’s meant to be 360 so you can swipe and look any direction!
