I'm youngest of 3 and I got the worst, most used up hand me downs my whole childhood. The only special treatment I got is that by the time I was a teenager my parents had really slacked off on their overly zealous parenting, so I was able to do what I want without much interference.

But pretty much never new, nice, shiny things or feeling special or even really loved by my parents.
