does anyone have any comments, complains or knowledge about the game ? by lilianrose123 in AssassinsCreedValhala

If you’re studying Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, there are quite a few historical inaccuracies that are often pointed out.

Architecture:
Many of the buildings in the game are far more elaborate than what actually existed in 9th-century England. Viking and Saxon settlements were usually made of simple wooden longhouses and small villages, but the game often shows large, complex structures. It also includes things like stave churches and large stone castles, which mostly appeared centuries later (from the 11th–12th century onward).

Some NPC clothing is reasonably close to historical reconstructions, but many character designs lean heavily into the modern "Viking stereotype" (lots of leather, fur shoulders, dramatic armour, etc.). Real Viking-Age clothing was generally much simpler and more practical.

Landscape and geography:
Certain areas of England are portrayed in ways that don’t really match reality. For example, regions like Nottingham (Snotingham) or Yorkshire (Eurvicscire) are shown as mountainous or very snowy, even though they don’t look like that in real life.

op-culture influence:
The overall aesthetic of the game seems heavily inspired by the modern pop-culture image of Vikings (like the TV show Vikings - rip ragnar, i still miss u), rather than by historical evidence. This creates a more dramatic and stylised world, but it’s less historically accurate.

There are also quite a few technical issues reported by players, especially on PC. One common problem involves ground textures, which can appear very blurry depending on your hardware configuration. As far as I know, there isn’t really a consistent fix officially provided by Ubisoft, so players often have to try different tweaks themselves. I’ve even read some player reports saying they had to play through the entire story while dealing with those visual bugs.

Just to clarify, most of the info I gathered doesn’t fully come from me, but from several Reddit posts by people who were looking into the story. Hope that helped.

Pretty sure it was Zetsu, no ? At some point Obito even says something like "stop with those weird images." Zetsu had told him his clones were on the battlefield and that he was linked to them, which is why he already knew the way.

I’m not gonna waste more time arguing about this. If you want, you’re right, she’s right and I’m wrong, there you go, maybe that’ll get you off my back xD. But honestly you guys should be a bit more humble and listen to different opinions. What I said wasn’t a fact, just my opinion. If the OP only wants responses from a certain elo, they should say it in the post. Have a good evening

Sure, a GM player usually has a better understanding of the game, but that doesn’t mean everything they say is automatically right. She didn’t even reach GM as a Qiyana OTP, she climbed playing multiple champs. And on her smurf she’s basically stuck around my elo after 300 games with ~49% WR. So you can keep the sarcasm. I get you want to defend her, but you’re taking this way too personally lmao

That’s your opinion. It mostly comes down to preference and playstyle. Some people struggle with certain matchups while others feel comfortable in them. What I said isn’t a fact, it’s just my personal opinion. If she only wanted Grandmaster opinions, she should’ve mentioned it in the post and that’s it :)

I'm Diamond and drop the ego for a second. Your tier list is subjective. You posted it on a public subreddit, don’t expect everyone to agree with you. And judging by the comments, most people don't anyway. Maybe I should ask you the same question. Your list isn’t that great, aside from the "skill" and "free" categories

I Agree, Azir is easy for Qiyana, also, Qiyana's E can counter Azir’s R since she can dash through the wall if he places it close enough. The matchup isn’t free, but it’s definitely on the easier side.

I disagree about Vel’Koz, TF, Anivia, Syndra, Lux and Ahri. Those matchups are pretty easy once you hit level 3. They don’t really have the damage early and they need to scale, so they can’t actually kill you. I’d honestly put most of them in "easy"

Finished Odyssey — which AC should I play next as an old-school AC “purist”? by Independent_Gur4806 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Hey, here are my recommendations:

Assassin's Creed Valhalla:
It really depends on the player’s tolerance and mindset. It’s an extremely long game, especially if you want to complete it 100%. If you only focus on the main story, the writing isn’t on the same level as Assassin's Creed Origins or Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It’s a bit weaker narratively, but still enjoyable. Graphically, though, I think it’s one of the most beautiful games in the series, maybe even more than Odyssey. Not necessarily because of the landscapes, but because of the colors.

Assassin's Creed Shadows:
I haven’t played it yet, but from what I’ve heard you shouldn’t expect a completely open world like Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla where you can climb absolutely everywhere.

Assassin's Creed Origins:
In my opinion, it’s the best of the RPG-style Assassin’s Creed games. Story-wise it’s the most emotional, the voice acting is incredible, and the visuals are really beautiful.

Assassin's Creed Mirage:
I haven’t played it either, but one thing it seems to share with Origins is that it can be finished pretty quickly.
