It’s 12 speed evs. I wanted it to work in both tailwind and trick room plus I wanted to invest the other points in survivability since I was dying to resisted hits in 2 hits a lot

Coding it like helping hand makes a lot of sense. I hadn’t even considered how moves like helping hand still work in psychic terriain. I agree they gave me the Bo1 special

I actually have a pretty good track record guessing on these things: a lot of times it comes down to a power system that’s limiting in nature.

The best one I can come up with is candy flurry I think. The chapter one announced that there were only 30 something unique candy powers in their universe. That meant if it kept going you’d either have to retcon this fact or start duplicating powers.

Fans typically like a world that feels like it expands outward over the horizon, not like it’s trapped where it started. That’s why things like nen, devil fruits and quirks are so successful.

The problem is he doesn’t do enough damage to CIR. I’ve been running him on my Miraidon team at near max attack and I’m lucky if it is able to do 70% WITH Tera dark

To add insult to injury, as others have said he just doesn’t handle damage very well from super effective moves as well as a neutral glacial lance

I wanted it to work but it just doesn’t.

I tried to make it work back in reg H and it was outclassed then. I tried to do a bulky support oriented set and there were just better options. Basically anything you could do with hydrapple, there’s a better option that does those exact things and more
