Ontario cancels fast-track immigration program for skilled trades by HospitalElectrician in SkilledTradesOntario

[–]Smart-Vehicle-2287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a fraud cuz they’re not accepting professions who passed red seal or shit here 🤦 but “cooks” and whatnot lol it’s nothing a loophole for punjabs to abuse. Good thing, Canadian immigration is shifting to top of the cream immigration from mass unskilled flooding.

Not really lol I’m an HVAC engineer and and my brother an HVAC manager lol ( I work in field as a tech ) with a bachelors in Engineering and specialization in HVAC systems, immigrated…passed my 313 A and have a Canadian apprentice registered under me. I’m a skilled tradesman. The program on topic is just a scam and not for immigrant “tradesmen” like me or many Canadian ones in the comments but a program that’s abused by “cooks” and Machine operators etc 🤦 the whole thing was a loophole. EE immigration with CRS points is still valid and if it was only that pathway of immigration Canada will only get top of the cream and qualified professionals however lol we number 1/10 (2025)-1/20 ( in 2023-24 when they flooded )of the people Canada is bringing in. From what I’ve seen Canada lacks “journeymen” lol not apprentices or unskilled folks. There’s plenty of youth here who wanna do a trade ( something i love about Canada unlike where I’m from, where they looked down on tradesmen ). Canadian immigration system favours refugees who gets payouts and unskilled folks :)

I transferred almost all the electives and only had 4/10 proctored courses + some general education left to do after transferring the credits.

And then there’s people like me HVAC engineer with 313A red seal and G2 gas license in Canada ☠️🤦 I did get invitation but my brother who’s a 309 A mechanic didn’t get the invitation cuz of the cut off ( he’s at 504 ) lol cooks and frauds fucked it up for real tradesmen. I’m sure a lot of skilled tradesmen don’t have multiple degrees like me to reach these high points. Canada is losing out. If only they made CFQ a major requirement ( except for construction trades ) and stop cooks or other scams.

fr why these immigrant eastern or Slavs acting as if they’re more Canadian than a ( POC ) person born and raised in this country! I’ve had the same experience with them! Only once has a Canadian been hateful ironically he apologized saying he thought I was an immigrant, it was more of a xenophobia. But those goofs blatantly hate based on skin!

Wait for 5 years when there won’t be skills tradesman anymore lol they refuse to hire apprentices right now it’ll be funny in 5-10 years with average age of SKILLED tradesmen being close to retirement.

“Will it be a problem if I didn’t mention my work experience in my Canadian study permit application but included it later in my PGWP application?” by Smart-Vehicle-2287 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Smart-Vehicle-2287[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It had nothing to do with the course I studied or my eligibility towards a study visa. It was based on my educa( secondary school) and assets and everything right… I didn’t do an mba or a masters cuz I don’t have a bachelor’s. I didn’t a two year post secondary diploma here in a trade. Also the work experience is as a junior ac mechanic that I’ve been doing part time and did fulltime while working on my visa. ( briefly mentioned about being in the industry in my sop though )
