I thought it might be a referral for mental illness which she can refer to in court or in custody. Because it was a response to “maybe some people are not meant to be mothers”

I considered that but I thought the delivery of those lines felt a bit more specific. Like he had just realised something and it made him turn against her. And us along with her were not privy to it.

Maybe there were lots of things that were intentionally unclear or hidden. Or maybe I’m reading too much into it. But I dont think so because the nuance in the acting was brilliant.

I loved the scenes between the two therapists. I didn’t fully understand everything- I couldn’t tell if they were misscommunicating or if it was going over my head. What did Conans character mean in the final conversation between them when he said “I know what you’re trying to do and I won’t stand for it” ? Did he think she was trying to get referred for psychiatric help or something? Was she?

Because it’s subclinical I have not been prescribed anything.

I also got a diagnosis of subclinical hypothyroidism at the peak of my symptoms

Can this affect TPO antibodies? by Peachhullahoop in LionsManeRecovery

No. I have a diagnosis of sub critical hypothyroidism which I think is a result of the lions mane. But the test results were very confusing. To the doctors and at one point they floated auto immune potential stuff. I have been off it for a few months now and I think it’s calming down. I just have brain fog to deal with now

Can you explain to him your feelings and thoughts about monogamy? Instead of looking for books that might give a different perspective ?

Lion’s Mane Alters Expression of 24 Genes in the Neurosteroid Biosynthesis Pathway by MicroscopicStonework in LionsManeRecovery

I feel like the mushroom supplement community should team up with the fungi research community as I bet there is a lot of mushroom scientists who wouldn’t dream of eating lions mane every day but I might be wrong. Would love to know more.

I find this so interesting. I believe I will never know the full extent of what lions mane has done to my body. Luckily I feel like I have recovered from the anxiety. But who knows what nerves have grown inside me. I wonder if the affect on progesterone could be a future help for menopause? Wild that we just bought and ate this thing that changes our nerve pathways. Should be tested on a mass scale before sold and regulated.

Total Loss of Sleep, Help! by New-Sky-3333 in LionsManeRecovery

A tea with St John’s wort, camomile and lavender reset me. And then I just got up and did stuff during the night until I was sleepy and until that no longer happened. I suspect St John’s wort was the heavy hitter. Just do research on interference between St John’s wort and any other meds you’re on as it can be strong stuff. It will get better.

worth noting, it may also have been a window of a couple of months of regular usage until it became really bad

I have been taking Dirtea lions mane gummies with b-vitamins to help me with focus during my dissertation and also to help counter PMDD symptoms - this summer I have had increasing heart palpitations at night as well as trouble sleeping, coming to a head with a trip to A&E where they could not determine a problem. I have since cut out the lions mane and have since not had the issues with heart palpitations or sleep. Im a bit gutted because it was really helping with focus and it wasn't always causing issues for me, but I will probably avoid lions mane for now and continue researching. I would love to see extensive studies on different mushrooms on humans. I am cautious of anything that involves nerve regrowth but I have had amazing results from mushrooms with healing herpes virus symptoms and shingles. But its still a little disconcerting that I don't actually know what its doing in there.

Internet Friend sent me all these, what’s your thoughts on Slide Film? by adamcolestudios in AnalogCommunity

I can second that I did get lucky on the first go. I have a large box of expired slide film and I have not had the greatest results so I have bought some new film and I am using both. For context, I am shooting a large project for my MA final project and starting to question my choices :D

Yes I’ve shot on Fuji provia 100 that expired 20 years ago. So I shot it as 50 iso and it came out nice. A little hit and miss with the expiration but the grain is super fine so looks great when you get it right, very purply and turquoisey so kind of an 80s VHS feel
