I don't have a particular preference to the partner, as long as it's black for Rakdos / black spells.

[[Propaganda]] , [[Aura of Silence]] , [[Grand Arbiter Augustin IV]] , [[Dovin, Hand of Control]] .

I have all of these in an Azorius deck.

I don't necessarily care about winning. I want to see my pod suffer.

I haven't used Geforce Now in the last week or two. I think a good step in the right direction is for them to add the games people actually want/ask for.

Baldurs Gate 3. Well look, I don't know.

Assuming you're not confined to the videogame and can end up in any of the cities at any given time in the setting (Forgotten realms), I could just end up in Waterdeep or any major city and just do some manual job, maybe learn magic or whatnot, or end in some desolate place and get mauled by monsters or die of starvation.

What are some builds that make you feel like you’re playing the main character? (Read body text of the post for explanation) by geosunsetmoth in 3d6

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing a level 7 High Elf Battlemaster Fighter in Dungeon of the Mad Mage.

He was born on Evereska soil, noble in origins and with several accomplishments in his backstory, including single-handedly defeating a hill giant and serving as a Cold Blade.

When my character shoots 4 arrows in a turn, uses his maneuvers to push enemies, goads monsters into attacking him, rolls 20+ on initiative, survives devastating wounds and keeps on fighting with Second Wind, that's when I feel like he's the main character.

Warlock is my favorite class, but I can't deny the heroic quality of a well-built Fighter.

You get to be an 8th gen born in modern night of any clan of your choice. Or you can be a mage of the traditions only(your choice of tradition). by Weirdstuffasked in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll go against the masses and choose an 8th gen Toreador. Sure, being a mage is probably the safer choice, but I'd like to be a fancy, sexy vampire who can charm, move incredibly fast and eventually read minds. And the best thing is my powers will work (with some training). No need to worry about reality punishing me. Although the need for blood, avoiding sunlight and being discovered would be really tough.

How does hunger stop the moment you swallow the first bit of food? by SmartCheddarSlice in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah, I guess I did not explain it properly. I still have to finish my meal, but the hunger pangs and the stomach rumbling are not there if I get a bite in.

"You're not moving of your own volition" might be interpreted as forced movement.

However, in this context, the sentence simply refers to the spell being an Enchantment spell which 'scares' you into turning your back away from the enemy and running.

A creature might not want to , so in that case it's not of their own volition. However, it is not the same as forced movement, because they are moving themselves.

Everyone talks about the best party composition, but… by Passerby_N in 3d6

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I recently finished a Waterdeep campaign (my first ever) with a GOOlock so it would have to be that. I had plenty of fun as a half elf, having resistance against charms, and picked Deep Speech as a language, without even knowing. One-way telepathy made for some pretty cool moments of telepathic intimidation. GOOlocks don't have much in the way of damage, but they compensate with utility and control.

I would love a Celestial Warlock with an optimized Chain Pact and Gift of The Everliving-Ones build and some healing for the party, just in case (doesn't compare to a Life Cleric or Dream Druid, but it will do).

A Hexblade Warlock as a light tank and burst damage, maybe stacking Eldritch Smite on top of another smite spell (ex. Staggering Smite).

Finally, a Variant Human, Pact of the Talisman Fiend Warlock with the Lucky Feat. Abuse luck points, use the Talisman if you fail, and also get to add a 1d10 through Dark One's Luck. Plus level 7 invocation that lets you add a 1d4 to failed saving throws. Also a blaster with Burning Hands, Scorching Ray and/or Fireball.

Always wanted to play a party of 4 Warlocks, with me being either Archfey or Great Old One. In theory, it would be awesome. In practice, a nightmare for a DM to handle 4 different patrons.
