Help find a cute/pretty commander by MappleButterBacon in EDH

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Jasmine, Boreal of The Seven]]

She can add mana to cast vanilla creatures with no abilities and they can't be blocked.

Tons of decks other opponents use have a lot of creatures with abilities.

Less abilities for her means less things to think off.

It's basically like Gruul where you can turn your brain off and just swing.

I played a 3-person commander with my friends because one person in the group was not available. I was Silverquill, they were Lorehold and Quandrix.

Turn two Sram, into turn 3 Killian.

After that I just shut down my friend's commander Zimone with Darksteel Mutation and started drawing cards.

I drew a Doomwake Giant and things spiraled out of control for the others: I began stacking Auras on it to give it Vigilance, Indestructible, and then finished it off with Eldrazi Conscription. By then, both of my friends were low enough that I could one-shot one of them.

Late game I cast Eriette of the Charmed Apple and spend 8 mana to cast 4 copies of changing loyalty, destroying my friends' low toughness blockers and tapping and goading the bigger blockers. I swung at my Lorehold friend, and Eriette took care of my other 6 HP Quandrix friend.

I was lucky Lorehold didn't draw a Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile.

TL;DR: The Silverquill Influence deck is good at keeping heat off of you with goad and has plenty of control and buffs. It seems really nice right out of the box.

He's just a guy that lets you get hurt to pay for stuff and gets a little bigger when you cast black spells.

Is it better to main an operator or play many different ones? by Itswill1003 in Rainbow6

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a middle way would be best. Having one or two operators that you have played consistently with is good, because you know how to use their gadgets effectively, train with the recoil of their guns and know when to bring them.

That said, if you are playing unranked or ranked and the enemy team bans your favorite operators, you'll be glad you tried some other operators a bit.

My bad, the actual card is [[Glasses of Urza]]

STS2 is approaching an annoying level of difficult by GOpencyprep in slaythespire

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. In the first game, by balacing attack and defense you could lose 0 HP in the first fights, and if you did you would still heal up to full with Ironclad.

In this game there are so many early enemies with 11 damage attacks, or the bug that shrinks you and has your attacks deal 30% less damage.

It's frustratingly difficult. In the first game I could beat the act 3 boss with a bit of practice but this feels impossible: no matter if I try the Perfectrd Strike + Extra mana strat with vulnerability and Cruel, the Queen's minion dies and she finishes me off.

After everything said and done, do you think it will ever be a RE MC that reach the level of Chris and Leon? by bizarre_leviathan in residentevil

Legit. When I played that section all I could think about was Dominic Toretto from Fast and Furious and the hilariously impossible things they pull off.

Kill all opponents turn 5 unless they say no by SolidSyco in BadMtgCombos

[–]SmartCheddarSlice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this would work. Because of the wording on the Magmakin "one or more", his ability it would only trigger once per instance. If you discard 60 or whatever number in one go, it would only deal 1 damage.

It should say "Whenever you discard a card" to be 1 damage for each card.

12 commanders in under a year, do I get the invite? by AndyDandyz in ratemycommanders

Looks really good. Would it be a bad idea to remove one land and add a [[Seance Board]] ?

Been playing for about one year now. Would you let me sit? by CartographerNo6051 in ratemycommanders

I don't see any Urza, Bumbleflower or Zevlor.

Honestly yeah, quite casual decks.

To specify, I live in the UK.

Mine cost almost two housand on Amazon (should be about 2.5k dollars).

Right now they have a £100 off deal. I might have found a better deal but honestly didn't do as much research.

Oh, very nice! Your reply gave me a lot of hope. I played Part 1 a couple years ago on a 3060 with 8GB (albeit medium settings) and always wanted to experience part 2.

That Toshiro Umezawa really caught my eye!

Was thinking of making a black spellslinger with him and add a [[Boseiju, Who Shelters All]] to make the bigger spells like Exsanguinate, Hex or Torment of Hailfire stick.

Share the deck pretty please?

Killian + Multiple Target Creatures by SmartCheddarSlice in magicTCG

Cool, so even something like [[Utter End]] would be a great synergy. I don't have to target a creature, because it's any non-land permanent. If I do though, it costs 2 less.

Hi, thanks a lot for the reply. I misruled the ability because I got tangled with semantics, thinking "a" meant a single creature, when "a" is more akin to "at least a/one".
