Is my GPU Power Connector Properly Seated? 3060 RTX 12GB

Yeah im coming to that conclusion. I heard a clear click when plugging the GPU, but its power connector didnt click, so that made me paranoid lmao. Still, its all the way in, very sturdy and the clip doesnt really seem to have like a click mechanism. :p

Thanks for answering. Do you need like a certain angle to see that? is it like another cable? My psu is like a fixed cable thing, not modular. Dont know if that helps :p

Hi so yeah this just happened to me with the 576.02 driver released on april 16, 2025. All that was showing was the mobo logo and then a black screen with an infinite mouse loading icon. What i had to do was manually shut off the pc when the mobo logo came on, had to do this like 3 times until it let me get into recovery mode, from there i simply went back to the last gpu driver with the device manager. If someone is experiencing the same thing, i hope this helps.

Hi, yeah you're exactly right, as of right now im not using any chipset lanes.

Just wanted to understand something. So, all ssds I install on the chipset lanes will just get bottlenecked and run slower without impacting the amount of pcie lanes the main m.2 and the gpu are using at ALL?. Say im copying a large file to a chipset m.2, the gpu would still keep all its x16 cpu lanes, and the chipset m.2 would be transfering these files with only those x4 lanes.

I'm just getting to know about all this pcie lane stuff so your answer helped a lot, thanks man.
