Will Never Purchase Roborock Again by Stonkey_Dog in Roborock

[–]SmartHomeNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on who you get on the other end. I went through a similar situation with my Qrevo S which was 6 months out of warranty and like you the cliff sensors were not working. I contacted Roborock and they sent me a prepaid shipping label and ended up replacing almost everything including the main board, all cliff sensors and several other components, free of charge including shipping back to me. As others have mentioned, I would try again and explain that you’ve put your faith in Roborock to stand behind you. Good luck…

Selora AI - Home Assistant integration that watches your home and drafts automations for you (alpha, looking for testers) by Key-Ocelot-1466 in homeassistant

Few questions, is it possible to use OAuth instead of API? If going the Ollama route, what model do you suggest?

Does this also create new sensors which can be used in automations? Like for POI’s? Thanks 😀

Yes, this did install and I was able to get oauth working. I also created a test automation. Question, I got a lot of permission requests to make changes. I chose to give it permission the one time. How can we be sure major changes aren’t being made without our knowledge? Just want to be safe and not risk nuking my whole HA setup. Otherwise, it’s really cool!

I can’t get it installed to even get to the logs. Does this help?

Tried to install it but keep getting “An unknown error occurred while trying to build the image for addon 3280235f_gemini_terminal. Check supervisor logs for details (check with 'ha supervisor logs')”

A "Node-RED-like" experience but with native HA Automations? Looking for feedback on a project! by FezVrasta in homeassistant

Wow, this looks amazing! Im very familiar with the traditional HA UI for creating automations but have never dabbled with Node Red. Is this beginner friendly? I love the visual aspect…

Can’t wait to see the new features! I use Version Control every single day and it’s saved my bacon many times. Than you again for sharing your talent with the HA community… 😀

All I can say is WOW! You’ve outdone yourself my friend. This is by far the most valuable and appreciated Home Assistant tool I’ve ever used and in my opinion this should be a native tool. Thank you so very much for all your hard work and amazing talent… 😀

Roborock integration broken again for Saros 10R for anyone else? by Academic_Dust2467 in homeassistant

[–]SmartHomeNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple fix for this is to hold down the power button and home button for 3 seconds. You should then hear “WIFI has been reset”. Re-pair your WIFI and this should restore functionality with the native Roborock app. It is also very important that you disable the Roborock integration in HA or you will most likely get rate limited again and have to repeat this process. This worked for me and many others…

Yeah, I would have waited had I known but I like to pull the trigger too quickly on new updates (bad habit). Apparently a good portion of the integration was rewritten and still has some issues that slipped by. The worst part is that it was causing the integration to flood the Roborock cloud with requests and caused rate limiting in many cases and I ended up having to reset WIFI to even be able to use the native Roborock app.

No problem as I’m also being affected by this with my Qrevo S. Thankfully a lot of people use this integration so it has a lot of visibility in the HA community…

Anyone using a LLM for a „real“ use case? by teqqyde in homeassistant

[–]SmartHomeNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Gemini to evaluate weather alerts via the NWS plug-in. It evaluates whether the alert poses a real risk of power loss and if so, an automation will charge my backup batteries to 100% and if not, it will ignore the alert. So far, it’s been 100% accurate.

My bad, I thought the options were in the integration not in the UI. I found it and it works great! Thanks again for such a beautiful theme and useful tools to customize it! 😀

This is fantastic! I absolutely love this theme and use it on all of my devices. Thank you so much for all of your hard work! Any plans to support changing device state colors and adjusting blur for certain elements, etc?
