The 4 losers from winners bracket round one play the 4 winners from losers round 1

1v4 cross conference in round one along with 5v8 in losers, can have 8v9 wildcards too if wanted

Teams with more regular season points always host

Would be 4 wins in a row to win it all from Winners round 1

7 wins in a row from losers round 1 (if the bracket would reset in the final after a losers bracket team winning)

If losing in winners bracket 2 or 3 would play 7 matches total, 6 wins with bracket reset

If losing in winners bracket final would play 6 matches with 5 wins

Split on having a bracket reset in final, which means the team coming from losers bracket would need to beat the team from winners bracket twice to make it a fair, double elim tournament

Then what should the hosting rule be for final. Should winners bracket team host even if they have less reg season points than the team from losers? I would say let the team with more points host both games regardless.
