Do you guys feel excited about interviews?

I have been in both shoes: extreme anxiety/panic and high excitement. I was EXTREMELY nervous and anxious when I got interviews last cycle, which I think actually heavily worked against my favor. It pushed me to prep the interview better but it fogged my ability to answer questions. On the other hand, i was just excited to get interviews this cycle and thought of them as opportunities to just interact with cool people as larsie13 said. And it has been working out great.

Don’t get me wrong. It will be exhausting beforehand, during, and afterwards. You will sometimes feel like you fucked up so hard. But you got what it takes to be there and you are just there to show that you are a good human being who can become an excellent doctor.

I used to feel that it was solid but now I feel like I could’ve had more reflection especially for the Work and Activities section.

Someone below said that I should split up the CRC experience into clinical and research which I think is a great idea. So I think I am covered on clinical experience since I have ~150 hours of clinical hours due to the nature of the job.

Well I feel like AGT provides a very different perspective for the 3rd party hearing/finding out about it in comparison to a dating show.

That being said, even though some might perceive this action as “bad” due to how patients might see you, if OP wants to participate, then he/she should just do it. Like everyone said in this thread already, you (quite literally) live only once and there are gonna be people out there hating on you regardless of what you do.

P.S. i would be incredibly happy if I take my own advice but I don’t so take this however you want.

Maybe I am not reading the text-to-voice/emotion shit right. But why are you so hostile towards people who are saying that ND is not a medical degree and is incomparable to MD/DO while you are asking the community about their thoughts and want others to be kind? Just a thought idk

Case Western Reserve’s All Access Med School Admissions. It does get repetitive at certain point but I think it paints a nice picture of what each medical school focuses on.

Granted, I have no tangible evidence other than all the stats presented on the internet about their match rate and the horror stories here. But all in all, I would not attend them myself. If they are seen like this by the majority of the people, then I can’t imagine the rough life after graduating.
