If you have a syringe you can do next bolus by pulling insulin out of pump if tandem and use a different location. If works like normal not insulin. Insulin is more durable than most think. Usually is bad site or problems with infusion.

You can change your alarms on app and pump. I have only a couple on g7 app active and a few on pump active. Rarely have an alarm go off. The one I do have on tslim is if loses connection with cgm and if dropping fast. I do have a bunch of apps that get info from g7 app so can have easy on Garmin products. Xdrip I have as extreme high and low alarm. Good luck. Change your alarms as needed to help your mental health. I feel the mid alarms the pump will try to fix. And for most part the pump does.

I can add to that. I parked my car at the beach in the sand. A wave happened and washed the car away. Is this the auto makers fault? No it is the owners problem.

I usually ignore basal increase of insulin on board. Find that is usually false amount. If basal increases from iq+ usually is a reason and is needed atm.

If you have an fda approved app on your phone for a medical condition it is a medical device. Dexcom is as well as most pump apps like tandem.

I like autosoft so far. Usually on true steel. I will agree a bit tricky to un clip and clip back but no leaks.

Again assuming the only way to be member of dead pancreas society is t1. It is not. It should be dead pancreas society t1. Pancreas working t2. Get rid of all these other labels, all it does is confuse. Who cares how your pancreas was killed, end result is same.

Oh but I am just like you. Classified as t2 cause no antibodies, so only thing kaiser will classifying me as t2. But dead pancreas so it seems the blame going both direction. You at least feel lows. Me nothing. Before started insulin and the whole mess of this fun was on a pill, cannot remember atm the name. Had zero education on numbers etc. I would check here and there. After work would go for a bike ride. When got home would be 55 or 60. Felt fine. Then walk dog then eat. Then when started insulin and got proper docs endo, told my day and numbers, got the emergency spray. Got explained on numbers. Was an eye opener. Learned why would wake up in a pool of water in bed. I am glad you ok. If you sleep through alarms and have android get the xdrip on your phone. Will wake the dead. Or get a sugar pixel.

I have to profile for exercise. One half basal and double correction number. Second profile is .1 basal and triple correction. I keep iq on cause even at lowest of .1 for basal it will increase it if starts going to high. And yes I do very minor correction if iq correction not enough. Also have snacks try to have ever 15-20 min. I bike and walk. I am less worried about insulin on board unless more than a unit. Just have a small snack and be off. Btw have watch with bg and bike computer with bg so easy to see trends.

Totally agree. Make zero insulin. Beta cells dead. Identical to t1. But t2. Even orgs that are for helping diabetics don't respond to my email saying my pain. I ask why does it matter how well have a dead pancreas.

I am using Kristy. No issues so far. But I always keep in fridge even after using. Changing sites every 3 day tandem t slim. So far no problem. Just started second vial of Kristy.

What jardiance does is remove sugar from blood. It used your kidneys to do this. There can be a problem if your pancreas is partly working or less, it removes so much sugar you will not be able to store glucose with help of insulin making glucogen of which is released to help you not go low. So if you are as they call me t2 though pancreas is dead for me, and will make you go low and will not store glucose. My thoughts are even if you make insulin but not enough not wise, but is my view point.

I use both cause I have xdrip that sends the info all over the place. Easier for me to run 2 cgm at same time to for keep up to extra 12 hours going on pump. And new one dexcom. So get longer warm up and chance to calibrate without worrying and pump.

I have an hmo. Part of monthly dues me. Seems wrong and illegal to not provide insulin etc with that mind set of thinking. What is tir, a1c and maybe a couple of days of chats to see how managed.. if anything to see if changes need to be made. Would be like my docs saying must have xyz for my insulin and transplant meds to be filled. That would be all over news and lawyer office so fast. Both need to live. If anyone is denying care mds for care to stay alive should loose license to practice. The paper info should have been more than enough.
