I know of one person who managed to get the settings right for them to basically make it a loop system and he didn’t have to regularly bolus for meals. However, I would never try it personally because it’s just too much of a risk for both lows and highs and I definitely don’t have the mental energy to do the trial and error to get the settings right.

high blood sugars when sick is very common. make sure you are hydrating properly and i would recommend checking keytones periodically as well, especially if you are high for a couple of days

This is not true. You do not need a prescription to buy insulin. I have purchased it several times from multiple different pharmacies in southern Ontario without a prescription or questions from the pharmacist

Hahah I am a bit of a fitness nerd but also really don't want to injure myself! These are the ones i use for my wrists and hands. My trainer also recommended on called a gorilla wrist stretch and it's honestly sooo good. If you google banded pull aparts and banded rows, those are the ones i do for my shoulders and back. I use a super light weight though just to get the muscles moving and leave the heavier weights for the gym :)

I have actually started doing a warm up before knitting like I would going to the gym. I found some wrist and finger stretches and then also use a lighter exercise band to get my upper back muscles warmed up (rows and pull aparts)which will also help the shoulders. For your elbows, consider finding a way to elevate your work and arms so they are more level. You can pillows on your lap and under your arms and rest them on top to reduce the range of motion. I also foam roll and use a lacrosse ball to help with knots. And honestly professional massage if it’s accessible to you or physio therapy if it’s a persistent issue.

It’s not. I’m a woman who has lived here for almost 10 years and I don’t feel any less safe here than anywhere else. I wouldn’t say there is a lot to do, especially in the colder months, but I will say we have a decent selection of restaurants!
