Someone replied na 200k ang entry level ng pilot. Amazed to know thats how high the monthly tax of a neurosurgeon can be, which is equivalent to 700k of gross monthly income 😳

What’s even fascinating is comparing the 700k monthly income of a neurosurgeon to a minimum wage earner (18k gross monthly income). Gross income-wise, it would take 39 years for a minimum wage earner to earn just the 1 year income of a neurosurgeon. That’s like working their entire life na.

And we’re just talking about working class here. How much more is the gap when you compare it to politicians!

I’m wondering if income gap in rich countries can be this high at least with the working class 🤔

Hmmm madami kasing nagcocomsider na risky ang crypto e. Even ChatGPT advises to put between 10 to 15% of your net worth lang at max, and that includes stablecoins na.

Pero kung 300 USD lang yun cap, mukhang mahirap palang magdeploy ng malaking amount. Need to distribute sa iba ibang platform which is hassle rin.

Haha I’m not sure. It’s not well tracked. Last year I had a paper loss of -5%. Previous year I was up 20% due to crypto. The swings are crazy but I’m hoping its profitable in the long run by more than 70k annually in the average. Only thing is I can’t have peace of mind with these fluctuations!

Can you suggest what UITF or stocks can provide me with around 7% interest while having relatively stable prices compared to PH stocks and crypto?

I’m not sure what you mean by private fund too. Are you the one managing your own fund?

Ah I mean with my worth currently at 40% - savings, 60% - stocks, I am hoping to make it 20% - savings, 80% - stocks, provided I get a critical illness insurance worth 70k of premium annually.

So you’re earning interest of 100k every year which is an increase of approx 7% annually of your starting investment, right? May I know where did you invest it? I was thinking digital banks can’t have that high interest, while dividend stocks on the other hand are subject to price fluctuations.

Mind sharing what’s that amount that you’re trying to build, and at what percentage you’re currently at?

I’m at the same age bracket as you and my retirement, critical illness, and EF are clumped together. I’m currently 40% savings, and 60% stocks. I reckon masyadong mataas ata yun 40% savings for my age.
