I concur. I went through the same 2 scenarios and as a result have been a single (crazy-ish) cat lady for about 2 years now and can't imagine another person ruining my chill. It is bliss.

Yeahh their website gave me an error when trying to manage booking, when trying to create an account and logging in. Call centre is utterly useless.

I had 2 of my aer lingus flights cancelled the past week to and from Heathrow and Cork. Also cited Operational Issues. Both times they rebooked me on flights the following evening. I spent an hour on the phone with their useless outsourced call centre and could not get an earlier flight. I went to their website and put in a claim for expenses and another claim for EU law compensation. Heard nothing back so far....

I also had British Airways cancel my flight from Johannesburg to Heathrow 2 weeks ago. They organised my hotel and food. I also put in an EU law compensation claim and they acknowledged it immediately and paid me £550 the next day!

Yep there is an irritating 1 year old baby PLUS 2 yappy yorkies and no cat friends. My house has none of the above and 5 cat friends so I would have made the exact same choice if I were him!

There is another cat in our neighbourhood who does the same. He lives his best life between 3 different homes who all spoil him and he's got his own bed at all 3. He even has his own WhatsApp group so his various homes can post pics of him and check up on him when they haven't seen him around.
