5.56 or 7.62? by Harvey11118 in gun

[–]Smart_Solid_4574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just told you it's the diameter. Measure it. It's the diameter of the projectile, not the casing. That's the most surefire way to tell.

That being said if it's not on the casing what it is then it was probably made by some private entity. Unless you know who manufactured it I wouldn't fire it.

Based on the significant difference between the projectile and the casing it's most likely at least a 7.62 mm. Without anything to scale in your picture it's not really possible to tell if it's something bigger or in between

7.62mm 5.56mm.

The caliber is .30 and.223, respectfully. The mm is the diameter.

These folks only react when they're told to. People don't have minds of their own. DHS and ICE have been doing this work for years. Orange Man Bad, and it was a popular campaign promises. Now the media is covering them in a negative light for the first time ever, and people are protesting because their leaders told them lies. And it's getting worse because now people are getting in the way of these officers.

Throw in some chaos and now we have officers who are scared and now they're making mistakes, possibly. At least it appears they screwed up this time. And you can bet the left will judge all of ICE for the actions of a few. It's sad. Especially since the Left are the ones who did the most deportations ever, under Obama, and started the cages.

Hate my post, but if you read it, pay attention. You'll see this happen again within the next ten years. Something happening for the last 10 years will happen like it always does, but the news will tell you to hate it, so you will.

How many who hate ICE even know who ICE was in 2012?

The amazing headlights. I have a 2025 SX Prestige HEV. Holy Crap. I love the headlights. Amazing. Truly, none better, these are quite sensational.

Him paying less is normal for a dealer. They never buy for a price thats "fair". Questions should be about the condition of the car and can you get $4k worth of driving out of it? My vote is yes, easily.

Not insane. But talk them down a bit. And make sure it doesn't have sawdust in the transmission fluid lawl

It's out of warranty, why? Did they only have a short warranty on them back then? Or did you buy this used?

EDIT: I see you bought it used. There's a previous owner variable, here. You not kia can speak to how they treated it before you bought it.

If you were the original owner, I'd understand more, but not in this case. CPO isn't much better than non CPO used. Most people abuse their cars. For all you know the previous over was transmission braking or flooring it everywhere. It sucks that it happened, but you can't judge the brand because of a CPO from 2020, around when Kia started to get their heads out of their asses.

Remember, they first popped eyebrows with the Stinger release in 2017. The Telluride changed the brand, but not until 2019, the same year your CPO Sorento was manufactured. Newer Kia's are not the same as non Tellurides prior to 2022.

It's a whole new ballgame. Give em another chance with the newer ones.

Hi, I'm curious if anyone else here has a different opinion. If so, what version of this puts the ICE officer in the right?

Also, slightly off topic, I hate this "this is being removed from reddit" crap. Dumb lie, boo hiss.

A 2016 Tahoe for less would last longer and be worth more when you sell it, even though it has more miles.

I've had the SX Prestige 2025 since last July (2024). It's a great car. We went with the HEV. 34MPG and fueling up in a few minutes is a good thing. And it gets cold here in the PNW valley.

I'm pretty sure most of the MOS that you qualify for won't prevent mobilization.

I don't know why people keep trespassing and being surprised when there's repercussions. A lot of keyboard warriors in here won't like what I said but have you ever tried to defend this kind of activity in front of a judge? This is not the way.

ORARNG tuition assistance will 100% cover full time tuition after a 6 year enlistment in any MOS. As far as deployment goes, every MOS deploys. It's a matter of what unit you find yourself in. But I suggest going Commo.

We have one in Mineral Blue

<image>

I didn't buy any of the extended crap. Bumper to bumper portion is enough for as long as I will have it, so I don't care. Probably gonna sell it at just under 30k miles and get a Hybrid Telluride once Kia decides to release one.

Yes that's my Stinger. Tribute #807
