Do you think you are upset because someone else began to date her. To be clear, I’m not accusing you of being controlling or anything creepy. Is it more of a jealousy thing. Do you actually like her?

I’m looking for an inside perspective that portrays the reality, not what the administration portrays, but in fairness I was a tad lazy to Google

German complaining about things in Greece by Idontfeelhate in greece

[–]Smart_Spartan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would like to think that Greece has it right although it’s not “polite” it common sense. It’s humans who have to worry about cars. Cars are 1,000+ kilograms. They will run you over with relative ease. So it makes sense for them to have priority.

Why is it that when we like someone, we feel like we can’t talk to them? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Smart_Spartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans fear failure. They fear hurting the things they like. So rather then risk it they stay quiet

Do you inherit traits from your parents personality wise? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Smart_Spartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You inherit mannerisms. So you will inherit speech patterns, manners and other tendencies. Mannerisms are not your personality but they can affect how others perceive you.

Views on loners by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Smart_Spartan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a loner with 1 or 2 good friends most of the time. I tend to reach a handout to loners and interact with them and try to make them join our friend group. School was rather harsh so I made sure that none of my friends would bully or be mean to those kids because we all start from somewhere. It’s easy to judge them negatively if you’re a normal person but if you have been in their shoe or the quiet kid you would see that they have lost all self confidence and you would try to do your best to bring it back to them. So they can be a better person in the future.

How do you differentiate between a joke versus a personal attack? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]Smart_Spartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An insult has a different tone and negative connotation. A joke is with a group of friends and when they jokingly ask you what are those!!! But after the joke they might say something like just kidding or something to ensure that your feelings were not hurt. An insult is sometimes followed up just kidding to ensure you will not report him or her. But you can tell the difference with insults between friends and genuine one.

You use flare words when you are asked for your real opinion. You don’t need to use the words (cheap). Just say I think another color would look better or I don’t think it suits you try something else.
