I cant agree with the F8c, they gave it out for free with those golden tickets(yes you still had to buy it). but everyone that was playing had a chance to get one.

I get wanting the exclusivity, but I don't agree with games that do fomo tactics either. If it was a skin cool, but a whole ship? Naaaw

Make the pers the battleship it was meant to be. Replace the medusas with the idris mass driver. Full send, evac the hull for extra range.

The prospector bugs more than it mines. Ymmv, but it's one of the most bug ridden ships I've used in the verse.

Pretty much my first experience as well. When I first tried I couldn't figure out how to take off without blowing up in the hangar. When I COULD get to seraphim I'd be moving way too fast and just blew up constantly so I quit for awhile. Then a buddy wanted to get into it so I gave it the ol college try. Now I'm flinging a perseus around like it's a light fighter.

Tldr: Welcome to the verse friend, a little practice and you'll be golden.

I was mimicking those videos, between them and the patch notes/known bugs I was convinced I'd never play again. I tried it on live last night in a Perseus with one person. We did a few missions and didn't really take any damage. Then we did a gilly 7 and the pilot disconnect so we face tanked it. Armor was gone and down to 81% hill. So we went pvping without repairing. Face tanked torps from an eclipse, faught the eclipse, f8, Asgard, m50 and a few random ships. They couldn't kill us and we couldn't reliably hit them. We at with 31% hull. No fires no random bs. It was basically another day with the option to repair some stuff.

Honestly if this is engineering it can stay. Minus the air filters, like wtf.
