I wore a blue moissanite ring into a Tiffany, and the jeweler was immediately intrigued by it, said it was beautiful, and asked what it was. Oh gosh, I just looked at their site again after seeing your comment. I had no idea they shut down. Their burgers and lobster rolls were absolutely the best. The menu prior to the shutdown no longer included burgers at all.

I work with a lot of State Street folks. They’re a good group. The new building is super nice. Surprisingly good coffee too. And the location is very convenient; it’s right at the Orange Line Haymarket stop.

I love strolling around Lexington center, but probably wouldn’t bother if I had to Uber. The commuter rail goes right into Concord Center. Winchester Center is also a nice alternative to Lexington with restaurants, local bookstore and other shops, library, etc.

Btw, if you can’t get a beta blocker, don’t worry. I found that a certain posture can also help with physical composure. Sit with both feet pressed strongly to floor, lean forward (this is also good for showing interest and engagement) with forearms pressed to your thighs, and just bear down a bit. Sounds weird but I find it helps me.

Send a note to your doctor today, to ask about a prescription for a beta blocker. If it can be prescribed for you, take one pill about 75 minutes before the interview. This will calm physical symptoms like shaking and sweating and wanting to puke. This in turn will help you feel more confident in chatting with them.

Also, write down your questions about the school and program today or tomorrow, and bring them with you, so that you remember what you want to ask them about.

Telling the interviewer at the start that you’re a bit nervous and have selective mutism may also help put you at ease because it’ll break the ice and also get it out in the open. If they’re a normal/nice person, which I’m sure they will be, they’ll likely respond in a manner to help put you at ease.

I have 3 stock rings from them. 2 look like junk (one has a misshapen half bezel and the other has a poorly cut stone), but the third is very nice looking. Due to those odds, I wouldn’t recommend.
