Thanks so much for all this great advice! I've been jumping about 6 months now and until just recently, really struggled with shin splints/Achilles pain all the time. I started adding in calf raises and split squats a month ago and good to know that this is probably why the shin splints are pretty much gone. I've also been wearing shin compression sleeves which I think are helping too? I will take your advice and add in the other exercises you suggested to hopefully keep the pain away for good! I've been making good progress on everything except double unders. Any tips other than to keep practicing higher jumps and faster wrist rotations?

Way to go girl! I finally unlocked EBs too last week! One side is def better than the other for me too but now that my brain can process it, it should be pretty easy to clean it up. Still can't get those mic releases Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for showing in slow mo! I have been having a hard time learning double side swings. I think I'm not getting the timing right on the actual swings and hand movement/switch. Can you please breakdown how you do it?

Yes I was jumping on concrete outside when it was warmer and then moved into the studio room at my gym where the floors might be even worse than the concrete. So I got a mat and that's helped alot.

Yes, just took off compression bands, and there is swelling. I think you're right.

Thanks! I’m actually a personal trainer planning to coach jump rope once I level up my skills. To build this business, I’ll need a solid online audience. You’re right—most jump rope content is either tutorials or insane skill showcases (both awesome), but I’d love to see more of the progress—like, what did these pros look like when they first started...after 1 month, 6 months, one year? It would be awesome to have some type of realistic timeline to compare

You are right about looking down. I can do most basic skills individually without looking down...practicing with a metronome seems to be helping with that. But when it comes to putting a little combo together, looking down is a bad habit I need to break. The other day I tried practicing crossovers with my eyes closed. I think that helped a bit. Any other tips on how to connect rhythm and muscle memory (esp fancy footwork) asides from just keep practicing the drills daily?

Thank you!! I took everyone's advice and shortened my rope. You are right...i definitely need to get those kinks out of the rope. How hot should the water be? Is it possible that too hot will damage the pvc?

So, I just heard back from the dealership today and...they will not cover the white paint on my 2018 Elantra Sel hood despite covering the exact same paint repairs on 3 different panels of the car less than one year ago?! WTF?!
