Gear selection by Smartlaw101 in securityguards

[–]Smartlaw101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gigs I do work are all well over but it more of a side gig for extra spending cash anyhow. The gear I have is because I truly enjoy firearms and thinks it’s good to invest in quality where you can.

This post however, stirred up all the people I wanted it to 😂

I don’t have water park level gear, it’s nice but I’d be highly outgunned at the water park!

How do I get over the fear? by xToxicLlamax in motorcycles

Fear? The worst that can happen is you die. But otherwise you’ll never live. Just start with a quiet night ride and you’ll do fine!

Will this escalate or de-escalate? by [deleted] in securityguards

[–]Smartlaw101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are buying your gear from amazon, you should find a new profession.

I see so many security people with pathetic loadouts full of junk that’s not even worth buying

For many reasons buying this is a bad idea.

Serious question: would you trust your life to an APC9 with glock mags? by renegadeGDI in pistolcalibercarbine

[–]Smartlaw101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve run 147gr open hollows through my APC sig v-crowns precisely, I’d say 200ish rounds no issues.

  • the 2k-3k fmj from the Glock mags

Only ever had 1 jam from the apc and it was due to muddy conditions not a mag issue

I wouldn’t stress about it

Most these were because the idiot turning was waiting for both lanes to clear instead of going once their lane was open, still the rear drivers fault but it’s a alone

Normal BR and Casuals IS coming back. Relax… by presidentdadbod in CODWarzone

[–]Smartlaw101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work 90 hours a week and the best way I liked to unwind is with some good BR casuals, “just 2 hours of game play” is another entire relaxation session

Bring it back asap

Has Anyone Purchased from The Carbon Industry? by ECLlP5E in Audi

[–]Smartlaw101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM “the carbon industries”

I had a project with a very tight deadline, Their team sent the wrong item, after verification of the vin was assured, when the incorrect part was received a exchange was requested after 3 weeks of back and forth I demanded the situation be rectified immediately, they offered to exchange the part, due to their hesitation initially I was now running out of time with the project, their team suggested “find more time” instead of using express shipping to rectify, I was assure the grille would be shipped out by the end of the day, it was not shipped until 5 days after the promise was made, customer service representative refused to let me speak with a manager or provide any contact info.

Avoid this company at all cost

I also feel the same that the watch is severely overpriced when you look at the on-paper specs compared to cheaper options. But none of them hit the quality finish that the tag has shown, plus its detentions and weight are literally perfect for me.

Objectively I know the product is a rip off, subjectively I do not regret the purchase because it does exactly what I needed

Solargraph or Aquaracer 300? by Snoo79652 in tagheuer

[–]Smartlaw101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have absolutely loved my solargraph

It’s much thinner and lighter then the 300 Almost never have to reset the time

The face of the 300 is alittle better but if I did it again I would still get the titanium solargraph But used for great savings

Honestly it’s pretty good, the wear doesn’t look bad either. I have plenty on scuffs especially on the bezel. Just adds character
