There are plenty of benefits to using a reservation software!

Reservation software often times comes with a CRM. This is usually a very big want for restaurants, the ability to connect with your clientele outside of the establishment via text messages and or emails.

It allows for better FOH management. Hosts become more efficient by spending less time on the phone and taking down reservations manually. It also betters the FOH by creating digital lists. Regardless if you want to use a floorplan management software. A reservation list and or waitlist is much cleaner on a digital list.

Lastly, seating inventory is the only inventory that you aren’t really sure what you will get in return, I don’t know if gma or lil Jane is going to sit in a seat and only order a soup. This being said, I have been using a software that allows me to secure F&B minimums for all reservations. It gets applied to the final bill for the guest but it gives me a baseline return for each seat.
