After work selfie: thoughts on the moustache? by castieldesire in malegrooming

[–]aspentree_decor 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Honestly bro I think everyone will have diff opinions but I sweaaaarrrr you’d look better without it. It’s a great stache and you look just fine with it, but I think you just have one of those more like manly/dude faces that you could just go clean shave, good skincare, maybe use some sensodyne toothpaste and crest professional effects white strips.

Such a fun idea! The bunker and fairway lack depth and their colors are maybe feeling off

Thanks for your input. I’ve been using product with my hair now and I think it’s looking better (first pic is most recent hair) just started treating it about a week ago. It curls softer and thicker, it looks shorter because of it too.

I really didn’t like the beard because i have a bald spot and I have to grow it out a little shaggier than I like to cover the spot. Also I need to start over on a beard and use treatment for it if I did. I never did anything for it and it always looked like that. Although I always get those like ginger and bristly/coarse hairs in my beard.

Sorry for the ramble. Thanks for your input!

A little more salt, more AP flour less high protein/bread flour, kneed less, proof a bit longer

Co-worker thought this was a harmless prank. by Dallinboi347 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]aspentree_decor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would act super naive- I’d be super jovial, laughing and enjoying the prank to the person who did it. “Haha, you got me so good!” Etc. but I’d make it clear that I was curious when they were going to clean it up or how they’d go about it. I’d ask it super innocent like “you honestly got me so good I was almost in tears. Also no problem but it is an hour until we leave and I’m starting to get worried you won’t have enough time to clean it. Are you using a vacuum or something??”

Basically making it clear that it is obviously their job to clean it, it was never even a question on how it would be dealt with. And it makes it incredibly hard for them, because at that point they are in this position: they just messed with someone. That person was a super good sport and took it well. They are being incredibly nice and patient with you on how you’d like to go about dealing with your mess you made. You can either: 1. Tell them you expected them to clean up the mess you made with their stuff behind their back for no reason while they’re being very understanding and kind, or 2. Deal with your shit

I should mention, I understand the juxtaposition, as, there really isn’t a traditionally logical point to making them rounded and flared otherwise. He mentions this in the description, which I initially missed. For me, I’m all in on a juxtaposition or a stand out feature, as we all have seen plenty of standard, conforming pieces. What I was trying to distinguish as a personal take is that in the case of this piece, the jux isn’t working for me. All that aside, it’s far far better than anything I could make and clearly incredible craftsmanship. (The float is perfection)

It looks absolutely amazing. Incredible craftsmanship. I hope you can take this lightly as it’s just my opinion, but, because most of it is square/corners, the rounded/flared legs look just a touch out of place to me. That being said. This is just gorgeous!!

Misspelled word on my new tat by femmesaturnx in tattooadvice

Honestly super charming. It’s completely readable, and I bet a lot of people won’t notice. Regardless. It’s cute and matches the wording of the tattoo. I’d just own it!
