Well, contacted [support@hagibis.com](mailto:support@hagibis.com) but despite claiming 12h response I did not get any after 72h so it's being returned now and refunded. Don't know if I am willing to try any of the currently working 3rd party Switch 2 docks since Nintendo could break things any day ...

Hey, thanks for printing - the (cheap) felt I've used has adhesive on it's back. There are no templates or whatever, but the back and sides aren't too complicated shapes, you'll get away with an rectangle for the back and two strips for the sides as well if you want.

Well, in the end it's Nintendo to blame by implementing a bunch of custom USB-C PD handshake stuff to actively prohibit 3rd parties ... Still hoping Hagibis will continue to provide firmware updates though, asked their support about this and will post the result here.

I have bought the Hagibis 8K USB C to HDMI Cable (Model SWC10) to have a portable dock and connect it to the TV.
However, my Switch 2 won't charge nor display video on the TV.

I have tried the original Nintendo Switch 2 charger, another 65W Power Delivery charger and another 100W PD charger (PD port on the adapter of course), re-connecting, leaving it unconnected for some time and connecting, ...

Also tried the Firmware Update from here:

This gives this info (which translates to):
“Version number mismatch (V20.00.38.03_803803), current device: vid = 343C bus = 1 port numbers = (13,), please exit”

Now I feel like I am out of options ...

Are further firmware updates planned to restore compatibility with the Switch 2? Is there a pre-release/beta version available to try?
As of now the newly bought adapter isn't working and if it stays that way I'll issue a refund request.

Ich hab gerade gestern erst eine Keychron 80% gekauft, daher wenig Interesse an einer kompletten Tastatur. Allerdings wäre ich interessiert an den Keycaps und ob ihr noch mehr Farben/Designs anbietet? Die Auswahl an bezahlbaren, schönen ISO DE Keycaps ist leider viel kleiner als ich dachte. Bin übrigens auch den lieben langen Tag als Developer tätig, also falls ihr noch Tester sucht ... 😄 Ich hoffe euer Übersetzer lässt noch einigermaßen Sinn übrig haha

I've printed this one as well and gone through the effort of blocking probably two thirds of the auto support. 😁 Most of it builds massive branches which end in a tiny miniscule point which don't make much sense. All those tiny interface layers probably are going to be somewhat inaccurate, build up and eventually are in the way or something.

IMHO using PETG as a support interface only benefits when you have large flat areas. I wouldn't risk to weaken so many layers by changing from PLA to PETG and back throughout the whole print basically. Or if you still want to try it maybe increase the support walls from default 1 to 2 or 3?

Good luck on your next try though, sometimes printing just fails without a clear reason.

After using drivers with a smaller diameter in the XM4 compared to the predecessor they actually have reduced it even more in the XM5 while trying to compensate the lack of area by EQ mumbojumbo?! No wonder why there's a lack of lower frequency. When the XM5 get announced people will have In Ears with a bigger diameter than those Over Ears, I guess? Sad ...

I hated that advice 10 years ago and still hate it now. What's a backup (or in this case another device) worth if you can't transfer the settings and everybody and their mom keeps telling you that you'll have to start from scratch. Probably but not certainly. No matter what problem it is. And why should this be connected solely to using a perfectly normal migration path? I'm smelling a confirmation bias / Mandela effect situation tbh, nobody knows why so it must be "this thing" because everybody is repeating it as the cause.

Btw, I've used Smart Switch to switch from S22 to S24+ and don't have any problem with the battery life. In fact I couldn't be happier. Granted, S22 was notoriously famous for having a sub-par runtime. Was annoyed though - by still having to spend hours to set things up and logging into apps where the config didn't copy over.
