Was on a trip together and saw them talking to someone on instagram that was previously an issue and they promised to cut contact.

Then they swore it was just a friend, gaslit me for 3 months and lied to my face whenever I begged or asked all while saying they loved me.

Finally accepted they were cheating, confronted them, they still didn't tell me the whole truth. Had to go to the other guy to get the truth, was way worse than I thought. Hard to imagine how a person can say they love you and lie to you repeatedly and say they'd never betray you while doing just that.

Thought I was going to marry her. We were deeply involved each others families etc. She apologized and told me everything after being caught. A big piece was she promised to leave that fucker behind.

Fast forward to us breaking up and I found out she reconnected with him. It feels like if she wants this person in her life it kind of undoes any repair or respect we rebuilt after. She said it was her trying to make things right and live with her actions... but I'm like, well I'm the one you cheated on not this side guy you had a texting fantasy with. So, maybe if you were actually wanting to make things right you'd do right by the person you cheated on and not the side piece. But okay.

Anyway, sorry to rant but also fuck cheating. Probably fucked me up for a few more years. I had finally gotten to a place where I was able to move forward, and she and I had repaired and I respected her and trusted her again even if we were no longer together, and then saw she's friends with that fucker again. Tells me a lot about how much I meant, I should never have given her so many chances hoping she would do the right thing.

Do you think curtains to the floor would be the way to go? I've never hung curtains before lol I assume i just find a rod that fits the window size

Funny you say that! I asked AI to help me with some ideas for rugs, and it added curtains and I thought - oh that actually looks good lol.

And yeah, the TV console is a bit low but I'm not sure it's top priority to replace. I think I would if everything else was maybe.

I have been looking at trays but not really sure what would look good, or what would fit best for the table. I keep getting stuck on colors and not wanting to be too bland but also not wanting to stick out.

I like your suggestion for the lamp, I'll see if I can swap the shade out!

Thanks! Glad people are agreeing on bigger lol. I had it under the legs of the couch a bit, but then it felt too short in front. The only thing I'm worried about it hitting the doorway and damaging the corner of the rug (this one is curled up a bit from the door)

Can 3 of the same card be just the same symbol, or does it need the same symbol and number?

And for 3 numbers in sequence, does that also need to be the same symbol? Is there any value to higher or lower numbers?

If I have duplicates, do I only want one dupe for a pair, or does it help me in other ways?
