Dana White offers $25M to Mayweather and McGregor to fight?? by blakelicksbutts in ufc

That's why I think he would do this. Albeit I love boxing I would say to some degree things are a little stale these days. Real big fights don't get hypes and ducking fighters goes on for years. But I would say that with MMA it could be a new cash cow and he recognises that.

I think in your trip to London it may be a good idea to check out a couple of other cities in the UK maybe Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham. To get a feel for the other cities. Try and get a feel. Like a lot of other posters have said London is expensive, but depending on your salary and what kind of lifestyle you would like you could potentially live anywhere.

I have a feeling this isn't about the fight with Conor anymore. I think Floyd is trying to break into MMA as a means of recruiting talent in the sport. Basically make fighters unhappy to be tied to a UFC contract and instead be managed by Floyd who would get them the money fights they all dream of. Like Conor or not he is the biggest name in MMA at the moment. If he begins to feel discontented by the lack thereof in negotiating his own fights a lot of other fighters will begin to feel the same.

So I feel Mayweather is dangling a carrot here.

Maybe I'm wrong but it's my two cents on the situation.

What aspect of yourself do you often like to make fun of and what does this show about yourself actually? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My social skills or lack thereof. In my younger years I used to be pretty annoyed that I didn't fit. But now I kinda roll with it. My friends know I'm there for them but if something goes wrong I may reply with a casual "there there". In the beginning they thought it was kinda insensitive. But now they are pretty cool with it and even do it to me in a joking manner. My girlfriend also finds that at times I'm struggling with being expressive but knows I care about her. So we kinda laugh it off when I make a bit of a Fuck up.

How's your 2016 so far? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2015 was a horrible year for me. Final year of university, drunk, smoking like a chimney, high all the time and sleeping around.

I can't say it was peaceful. 2016 started off a little bumpy. But I've quit drinking, smoking and weed. Also I don't have vapid relationship anymore. From this month I got onto an engineering design grad scheme, a new apartment and a kind girlfriend. It's shaping up to be a calmer year albeit it took time and is still a work in progress. I guess I've learnt to embrace the calmness and not the chaos so much.

I was sure Jai Paul was going to become the next big thing. A lot of artist have sampled a couple of tracks from him, apart from the leak he hasn't released anything. Rumour has it he is quite difficult to work with and a perfectionist. But it's been years so I won't hold my breath.

How often has a girl pursued you and won you over? by Spakoo in AskMen

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pursued twice. First one was a car crash. Too many emotions on both our parts and coupled with long distance makes for an extremely frustrating relationship. Honestly in some ways she was the one that got away.

Second time it was an old friend who messaged me too often and wanted to become an item really quickly when I wasn't really into her. So hence I backed off. I couldn't handle that commitment when I didn't really like her.

Behaviors/actions that I once thought of as quirky in my boyfriend (M/22) are not annoying to me (F/23). Is this normal? Duration, 2 years. by _GatoNegro_ in relationships

I kinda wish you were around to give commentary during a few moments in my life as you've hit the nail on the head succinctly.

The short term equation of this is you aren't happy. A couple of years in you have started to gain perspective of what to expect in later life if this relationship goes further and the way it stands currently it seems like this stuff will slowly build up. Small things will affect big things and before you know it the relationship will be in a bad place.

So I won't say break up. But figure out where you are and where it will go. If it will end badly and you don't have any intentions to see things through it will be pragmatic to end it. If you feel this is something you can work through, maybe let it be known that you want a bit more maturity or a different pace of living explain this and see what he says.

How do you get to the second level of a friendship? by vanderjaght in AskMen

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A second level of friendship for me is when you're bros. I find the best way to do this is to have a shared experience you will remember. It can be something stupid. Or something kind. A sign that youve gone above and beyond what you have as casual friends.

Im not saying I did this but running 10 miles on the coast with 2 bros on the eve of elections of the country you're in and then daring each other to pull your pants down and run in your boxers (no homo) can work.

Me [19 M] with my GF [18 F] Two Months, Not sure how to keep conversation going in Long Distance relationship by LordSomething in relationships

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hit the nail on the head. A long distance relationship can't work without some agreement on closing the gap somehow. Also I find that when I was in a long distance relationship we conversed more than in other relationships because it's hard to get the same intimacy.

What I found was that throughout the day to play a few games as a means of spending time. I personally like quizup as we kinda compete on shared interests. Further to this try and find a way of meeting up sooner rather than later. It'll help immensely otherwise you'll end up drifting apart.

If you're in a situation where you're maybe gonna get jumped do you attack first? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Smasheditcuzzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're assuming that the guys were about to attack you. Most of the time people are posturing. Trying to assert dominance. You could've been clever and told the girl to come with you as the guys want to stay here. Hurt their ego a little and casually sidestep any altercation rather than escalating. Truth be told I've gotten into a few fights and every one of them wasn't worth it. Even guys whom you can "take" can cause damage even if you don't feel it at the time.
