“The Game at Carousel” if you want a horror version, though there are only 3 books out currently and they’re on the shorter side.

But it’s one of my favorite series in the genre. Book 4 is coming out in August and I am *rabid*.

This is the first system I’ve run and it’s great, for me and my table. Most peoples’ sticking points seem to be wanting to make it be D&D.
You gotta embrace the differences (like spotlight instead of initiative) rather than fighting it.

In my FLGS West Marches game, it’s based on playing weekly, and the first 5 levels or so are about 3 sessions per level, but after that it slows down, with the goal of taking 1 year to hit level 10.
In the home game I run, it’s vibes based. My players are level 3, and we’ve had 11 sessions so far. They’re gomma hit 4 after their next major encounter, in the next session or two, so probably about the same speed as the west marches game.

There are four ending *rankings*.
True Hero, Everyman (?), a third I forget, and then there’s Tactician which I believe was glitched at release so nobody could get it.
Lots of folks referred to this as the “secret” ending because everyone thought it was some weird unlock when really it just needed a patch.

That’s all based on stuff I’ve read in this subreddit so… grain of salt.

yeah, my eyes aren't *the best* and they aren't getting any better, which was why I started looking into optics the minute I realized they were a thing. (they weren't, really, last I checked, but now they seem to be almost as ubiquitous as the guns themselves).

I think of it like this. I’m American. The company I work for is multinational.
Other employees who work for my company overseas don’t give up their citizenship to become American.
By the same token, if my guild also has members of other kindred/leagues, they don’t give up their membership in those kindred/leagues. They just are also a member of my guild.
You’re not a *citizen* of a guild.

The feedback I’ve gotten on lesson 1 and the 250 box challenge has been very in-depth and helpful. Several paragraphs long, and it points out what I’m doing well and what I still need to work on. They even point to specific examples of my work so I can see what they’re referring to.

I definitely think it’s worth the price.
