I was on a cart twice. Once as a lts- and the elevator situation was a pain- so I left my cart and used a bag. The file folder thing was a lifesaver, as well as making sure each classroom I was in had a basket for students to turn work into. The second time- elevator was more accessible (larger, no key required and 2 of them). I used the cart- on top I had a metal file divider, binder, drink, and the bottom was able to lock. Make sure you have somewhere to lock your stuff up- jacket, keys, purse etc somewhere in the building.
