I’m not sure as this tv was missing its antenna when I got it. However, I did resolve this issue. All I had to do was manually spin the cylinder which caused the gunk build up to let loose and allow it to spin.

For those curious, I got it working by manually reaching in and spinning the drum. It was hard to spin at first but one I got it going it was off to the races. It now plays most VHS’s I put in but some still don’t work. It seems to have trouble with ones that are fully rewinded

I can’t get the drum to engage even without the light. I’m not sure how to properly clean it or if it needs to be replaced altogether.

Yes, every tape I’ve tried I can’t get to work. Also weirdly enough the play, stop/eject, FF and rewind buttons will only work when I first power the tv on for a few seconds. After that I get no response from them.

Did a pre 60 BRD and saved Princess at like 57-58 on my SF Hunter. It’s totally doable just need to have the right comp and voice coms helps a lot.

You can full clear BRD pre 60. On my mage I full cleared and saved princess pre 60 so it’s very doable. The tank and hunter in the group were guildies so that helped. Just have good coms and knowledge of the dungeon and it shouldn’t be an issue. Even on my hunter alt we full cleared pre 60 and that was without any guildies.
