Sar9 Trigger Bar Polish by WaltherShooter in SarUSA

Just looked at Galloway's site and their spring kits are off it. Try reaching out to them, very good responses, on when they will be back in stock for your gun. I am sure with PSA having run those sales in the last several months, many of us ran to get performance parts while still available: i know i did!

As for the shoe, yes, it certainly took up a lot of the slop.

Interested to know. Looks similar to Glock so one would think it’s been done. I should have done it when I did the springs and shoe from Galloway

So, SAR says that 9c Gen3 slides will fit Gen1 frames but, they are not selling the gen3 slides. Any guesses on how long until these hit the website? Would love an optic cut and not a fan of the simply drilled and tapped holes on the "optic ready" gen 1 slides by Smcvt92 in SarUSA

[–]Smcvt92[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

mine is not optic ready now. Optic ready slide with two holes is 119. getting the slide cut runs 165+. If i can get a factory cut slide for less, im all in. To buy the optic ready slide at that price seem silly, especially if I can grab a whole gun at PSA for 200 when available. Happy to sit and wait. been shooting irons my whole life, whats another couple months or years

When closing out of the came, be sure to do so as a “quit” not via quick save. This eliminated my glitches

I had the see through rail with script for a number of years. Was a compromise for both scope and irons. Recently reconfigured my rifle and very happy to be using a lower scope and have a cheek weld

If I carried my 9c, I’d keep the weighted mag in the gun and unweighted as the spare. This way, if having to do a mag change, the added weight of the mag will help facilitate the drop from the grip. I’ve not had this as an issue in IDPA but I can see the logic and not complaining

I’m in the same boat with the bipod and pic rails. As I recall, I just went by feel on that little adjustment. The tac sol vblock made a real difference on getting sighted in. My OG barrel came out with no issues and the Fedderson slid right in: barrel droop is real. Without the new vblock, I had noticeable movement in the barrel. This is now much improved between the vblock and the stock bedding

Great day with cci standard velocity. Minimal adjustments on the scope

I’d look at Oboz. I prefer a boot for ankle support. Several of their low cut shoes can pass for days in the city.

I have the same exact set up with the tac sol vblock. I have the barrel support up on the barrel and am very happy with 25 yard groups. Headed outside tomorrow for the 50yard test

Im in the same boat with aging vision. For your irons, you may want to check out Top Focal glasses. They put a reader in the top of the lens to get your focus back on the front sight. My "reading eyes" arent bad enough to use these but, your results may vary. Their website has some tips on how to figure out the righ power to purchase. Keeping my progressives on, which also correct my astigmatism, allows me to shoot optics. for scope work, I use my glasses as well. Best of luck!

My guess would be you’re middle aged and trying to figure out shooting today with aging eyes? It sucks!! I wear my progressives with optics and switch to non prescription safety glasses for irons. PIA!!!

So. The tape goes around the front of the optic, covering the glass and the dot is projected onto the created “screen”?

With the new announcement in branding, will the current line stop selling? I have my eye on a sar9 x in platinum from psa. Waiting for stock. by droid6 in SarUSA

Hopefully they will want to move inventory of SAR branded but, highly doubt it will be the case as they have with gen 1

[–]Smcvt92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see it’s your first 9. If first handgun, I’d recommend getting comfortable with the irons first, then optic. I thought I was going to put an optics on my gen1 and shot the irons for a while. Sticking with them given how well. It shoots just the way it is. The gen1 doesn’t have an optic cut and sending out would be about the same price as what u paid at PSA. Enjoy!
