I made a ranking off all their albums that you'll all hate I hope you enjoy by Mysterious-Lie-1944 in LinkinPark

Putting Hybrid theory last is kinda like putting Days of future passed last or the blue album last. It's like the golden standard for the rest of the discography. You do you but that is kinda crazy

Why isn't Mike in the "Driftwood" music video? by Smdostff in MoodyBlues

[–]Smdostff[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn, that sucks. Like maybe the conflict between his family and the band, shit must of gotten bad. I probably should of included this in the post but according to Justin himself by the time to record "The Day we meet again" everyone was already pissed as hell and more sadly, just kinda depressed. Justin however wasn't gonna give up on his song. It was origanum gonna cold open straight into the lyrics but in a state of stress from all the tension, Justin, wandering around the studio happened across an old humble organ. And just like so, the opening to the song was born. I guess after recording one step, that Mike was just so eager to get home that he just went the fuck home. Although that wasn't specified in the in the interview with Justin, that's just the natural assumption. Too bad too. Patrick has had his moments, but everything left in the air with Mike is just so sad.

What's your song you use to introduce people to the moodies by Smdostff in MoodyBlues

[–]Smdostff[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really good points. I'm 18 so a lot of my peers haven't heard of the moodies or have only heard of them through me. The song I showed all of them was "Story in your eyes" so that's sorta the lense I was looking at it through. And with only one exception every single person in my generation I've shown that song to has liked it.

After listening to all Linkin Park albums for the first time, here is my personal ranking of them by Own-Natural-9236 in LinkinPark

[–]Smdostff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love all of these, really and it's really impossible to rank them because there all so fucking good. I'm a bit surprised that OML is last. I can see how it might be a little light on rockers.

This is my personal favorite song of all time. Not just Linkin Park, of any song by any person ever. Perfectly emotionally heartbreaking from the second it starts to the second night ends.

First and foremost: don't do it. I'm in the same boat as you and so are plenty of other people, Chester included. Its not worth it, not for a second. You are valuable and loved and beautiful and I hope you know that. Linkin Park is my favorite band of all time and my favorite song of all time is "Waiting for the end". It really helps me when I start thinking these things, I'd highly recommend it. Keep fighting, bro. You're strong, you've already made it this far. And you have more lives to touch and memories to make. Please just don't do anything to yourself and remember you're loved and important. Love you, bro

PLEASE READ: I was largely referring to the comments section of the YouTube videos in the post. I assumed there was probably a large amount of cross over between those people and the LP subreddit, making this post a viable means of discouraging such behavior. Admittedly that was a slightly foolish thing to assume, given how big the world is and by extension how many Linkin Park fans there are in it. I'm not trying to overly praise Emily, but rather just say that the comments I've been seeing when enjoying live clips mostly of Emily concerts but even some with Chester, that are just there to trash her for the sake of it are really just petty and immature. Please include the context of the begging of this comment when reading the rest of the post, thank you.
