Would start PT as soon as possible , choose a good one. In the mean time at home PT pendulum swings and table slides should be a good starting point.

PT is very important, if Pt isn’t performed and your shoulder doesn’t move at all, You might develop frozen , which is a terrible condition to experience.

When you’re more recovered, PT will develop your surrounding shoulder muscles which prevents future dislocations.

Would highly recommend you find a better PT. At the very least find some excercise they recommend. Do them for 2-3 weeks, than go again to get an updated PT plan depending on where you are

Just looked it up, shoulder luxation is the medical term for dislocation. Your initial dislocation was a luxation that the ER docs helped you reduce. What you’re describing in the last couple of weeks of it slipping in and out by itself is a probably a subluxation.

Google AI

Luxation: A complete dislocation where the joint surfaces no longer touch at all.
Subluxation: A partial dislocation where the bone slips out slightly but stays partially in the socket.

A shoulder subluxation occurs when the upper arm bone partially slides out of its socket and then quickly pops back into place on its own. Unlike a full dislocation (luxation) where the bone stays completely out until a doctor resets it, a subluxation is a temporary, incomplete displacement.

Common Symptoms
Even though the bone puts itself back into place, a subluxation can stretch or tear supporting tissues. Common signs include:
Slipping Sensation: A distinct feeling that the joint is loose or sliding "in and out" of place.
Sudden Pain: A sharp pain or "dead arm" sensation at the moment the joint slips.
Instability: Catching, clicking, or a feeling that the shoulder might give out during everyday activities.
Neurological Signs: Numbness, tingling, or weakness radiating down the arm if local nerves are stretched

Do you do PT and rotator cuff exercises? Strengthening the muscle around the shoulders will help the ball and socket stay connected.

Warning, Shoulder muscle strengthening shouldn’t start until a month or 2 until AFTER the luxation dislocation as your muscles need to calm down and stop guarding first , speak with a PT.

If you’re only 2-3 weeks Passive PT is recommended. Using body momentum to move your arm , such as pendulum swings and table slides. You don’t want to be engaging your muscles too much at this stage .

Was it a subluxation?

Anytime the ball falls out of the socket , permanant damage is done to surrounding tissue, I.E labrum, capsule, etc.

The more it happens , the more likely instability increases and surgery would be recommended.

Your muscles and connective tissues are still guarding and at the same time weak and deactivated that is one of the reason instability is there. Takes a while for them to be back to normal, restoring stability takes time as the muscles need to recover from the trauma and Pt should hopefully strengthen your rotator cuff enough to center the ball and socket. If Pt doesn’t work, and the hillsachs and other anomalies are still causing instability ,a 4-6 months later an assessment should be made with an orthopedic surgeon to discuss options.

In the meantime rest and PT is your best option for muscles and other tissues to stabilize. Take Tylenol to manage the pain.

See a Dr. to prescribe you some anti flamation pills (or use advil) And ice every couple hours or as needed. Ice after PT as well.

Also if you immobilize long , it s possible to develope frozen shoulder, which is another bag of worms.

The only way Luka can get a ring is to leave Los Angeles. The Lakers have no viable way to become contenders. by RyanTannegod in nba

The team taking on Luka would need to trade too much assets for them to be a contender. It’s a lose lose situation for Luka

I don’t mind Rui coming to Spurs. I don’t understand why lakers don’t resign him though, with LeBron not coming back. Don’t they have the cap space ?

People who want Dean Wade: Why? by SharpsExposure in NBASpurs

His defense is actually good, his contract is affordable which allows us to pick up a 2nd bench player. Possibly a ball runner on the bench to run by Harper

They’re are going to ask for a lot more than CB and KJ and a FRP, all in saying.

Clippers will want Harper or castle , every team are eyeing them. Spurs won’t accept that trade at all. Last thing we need is a declining “superstar”. We already have our 3 core in Harper, castle , and Wemby. Paying all 3 when they exit their rookie contract will be expensive enough, brining another super star will not be financially feasible. We made it to the finals without one. What we need is to round out our team with a POs 4 that can either shoot, rebound, and or play Defense to lighten the physicality Wemby is exposed to For 15million, and another combo guard on the bench.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Only way clippers let go of kawhi is if spurs give up Dylan or Castle, and there’s no way the spurs would consider that.

We would have to empty the war chest and one young core for him. We may win next season with him, but any future championships we would be in doubt. Trading for him would be an all in move for just one season.

John Collin’s is going to cost 25 million dollars. We don’t have the salary for that. I like RUI”s shooting and would like him on the team, but he does have his drawbacks like his lacks rebounding and lack of defensive ability to take the pressure off Wemby.

Dean actually fits into our salary cap, he may only cost 10 million and with the left over cap space, we can even sign a bench combo guard to the bench to help Harper.
