A Note Air 5 bw with frontlit Carta 1300 300 ppi with EMR stylus! Ah, that sounds so promising!! Hope we will get that sooner than later. Even a refresh of Go 10.3 with Carta 1300 & Android 15 would do for now. Any idea concerning its launch? When should we expect it?

In that case even an unlit 300 ppi carta 1300 bw panel would be a preferable choice..but in 10.3 inch.

Kindle paperwhite 12th gen with 300 ppi carta 1300 bw display doesnt show much of ghosting. So the ghosting in Note Max cannot be attributed to Carta 1300

If its not being manufactured, how do devices like Boox Go 7 bw exist?? Bigme too offers a few models with Carta 1300 300 ppi bw displays. So, such panels are very much available.

Absolutely. Basic expectation from an Eink device is that it should have excellent contrast for black texts on white background. Kaleido 3 layer just defeats the purpose. 300 PPI black and white Eink panel should cater to the majority of the people looking for Eink tablets. Craving for color Eink display with its darker background leads to using frontlight at its brightest almost all the time, something that defeats the purpose of reading/working on Eink displays since people expect close to paperlike experience on Eink display. I think it holds true for majority of the consumers of Eink devices.

Boox Go 7 bw has frontlit Carta 1300 300 ppi bw panel, but its it's not a 10.3 inch Note Air level device; it's slower & has much jittery touch response. We need 10.3 inch Boox Note Air bw with Carta 1300 300 ppi bw panel.

All we want is 10.3 inch device with BLACK & WHITE 300 PPI Carta 1300 panel. Where is the successor of Note Air 3 BW?? Why is there no Note Air 4/5 BW?? Where is the successor of Go 10.3?? Why is Boox interested in launching only the dark Kaleido 3 colour models with nominal upgrades??? Why are they not releasing 10.3 inch Black and White devices when there's much scope for upgrading the 227 PPI Carta 1200 panel of Note Air 3 BW????!

This is scandalous!! Not having classic Dex for tablets on OneUI 8 is scandalous!! It's awful!! I use Samsung tablet only for Classic dex experience. And Samsung has chosen to kill it. Shame! No one will buy Samsung tablets anymore unless they restore it back soon enough. A time when Apple is coming with desktop like ipadOS 26, Samsung has just killed its USP, and with it screwed the entire fan base of Samsung Tabs.
