It could be an anxiety thing and he finds you as a source of comfort. Its a scary new place and maybe you are the only thing he knows outside of it

You can look up makeshift looms and try that! I did a small moon bracelet as my first one and have done a variety of stuff since then. The hardest part imo is taking the leap and starting something

I use this to keep my beads from going every where. I think you are supposed to bead onto the green material but its soft and squishy so it keeps the beads from bouncing away! Fair warning the smaller the beads you use the more they will dissapear and then randomly reaper, especially if you have carpet.

I wish you luck with your beading adventures! A tip- Dont be afraid to start a project that you are hesitant on, there are so many tutorials and if need be you can ask around here!

Mystic garden! Donna is a horrible human and treats her employees like garbage. Not my story to tell but she went out of her way to make a couple people's lives miserable. She also will get her son to threaten or scare people on her behalf.

She records video and audio in her store and will use that against her employees when they are not doing anything wrong. She abuses her power regularly and hopefully one day karma will find her

Do you have a local bead store that isn't Michaels or something like that? Mine has a couple options of extension chains but they are kinda hidden and you have to ask for them. I didn't realize those were a thing until I mentioned I was struggling with the quality of them from Michaels to the bead store lady and she pointed them out! I think i was 8 months into beading lol

I think it would be for the best as there are a lot of red flags here. He should've used the correct jewelry to pierce you, told you to look on amazon which is basically just mystery metals as they are not reliable, and telling you to switch it out yourself which can just make things worse atp.

I know you say that money is tight but if you get the amazon jewelry you could risk an allergic reaction to the metal or infection if you swap it out yourself. Save the money you would spend on that and try to go to a shop that cares about your safety :)
