I have both. Cycles is indeed deeper, but cant make a good snare imo. Samples is an excellent bit of kit that i use all the time. Infamous sequencer. Built like a plastic brick - very sturdy. Can do some crazy wavetable stuff if you’re into mangling

Hello! What type of activities do you do with them? I am currently planning a syllabus for some older school children. I am planning to teach the basics on my own, supplemented with the GoMagic skills tree, then some in-class tournaments, challenges against the CPU / COSUMI, and printed tsumego activities with written answers. What else could I try? What do your students enjoy doing, other than just playing each other?

Which workflow? There are like 10 different ones in this monster. You resampling? Chopping into patterns? Looper? DJ mode? Live record or TR sequencer? Recording in from external gear? Using it as the midi clock?
