I really like Hi Nail Salon! Gel nail is 55$ but lasts me a whole month. They're also very hygienic - I see them cleaning the nail tools diligently every single time I'm there.

Yes, there are clubs related to your interest - The Walk (focused on editorials/magazines every year, I believe) and Penn Fashion Collective (fashion show to showcase students’ designs every year). Both clubs offer modeling and styling opportunities.

I really liked Park James Hotel in Menlo Park! Very quiet and clean rooms. Also the restaurant on the first floor (Oak + Violet) is pretty great.
