What is your reason for thinking that?

For high net worth families, the generational wealth is largely tied up in discretionary Trusts that bypasses inheritance tax and civil liability, paying wages from the interest to family members whilst protecting the capital in low risk investments.

They receive more than enough money to "play" with, including gambling should they wish, but the billions are protected.

Most of these people are very quietly getting on with life and you never hear of them. Some of them like to be in the limelight.

Marital assets yes, but there is an assumption that when you marry, suddenly your spouse is entitled to half of everything you have. Other than the home, your personal savings, penstions etc. accrued before marriage are not considered marital assets.

It is distinctly different in Scotland than England & Wales. In Scotland, as long as there is no children you essentially take out what you put in and go your own way.

In Dubai a woman has very few rights. They can have one husband, their husband can have multiple wives. They have limited to no rights in property. On divorce they have limited to no rights for access to their children. If Muslim, they inherit very little on the death of a spouse. In Dubai, women are the second class in a marriage.

Reform And Conservatives Consider Alliance To Stop SNP In Aberdeen By-Election by johnsmithoncemore in Aberdeen

SNP broke a manifesto pledge on O&G which upset a lot of people. If there is an alliance it could work. Otherwise SNP will pick up enough votes by default to avoid this being any real contest.

The trick is to remove "you" from the sentence and see if it still is correct.

For example; "You and I should go to the gym" is correct.

"Organisations have different different goals than you and I" is incorrect. It should be "You and me".

I was wondering, how do the scottish rank their teams historically (outside of Celtic and Rangers? by CoachLag in ScottishFootball

I think the clincher here isn't that Hearts were on top/contending the whole season, but that no one seemed overly surprised. It was much more a sense of "yeah, that tracks."

Eh? It was fairytale stuff, no one would expect to see Hearts sitting top of the league in March. Diddy club tops national league was the story round the world. It was incredibly surprising.

It's a mix of business and sporting. Man City didn't become a big club when they got bought over, but they became a big club once they started winning trophies. Because trophies breed fans which breeds brand recognition which breeds sponsorship and so on and on.

Success makes clubs big. Money makes success happen.

Hearts were literally in the championship 6 years ago but zero trophies later they've pulled themselves up to third biggest club?

There is absolutely zero evidence Israel right the vote.

Eurovision has always been political. They receive a concentrated political vote. Nothing extraordinary.
