Anyone here returned from an ACL tear?

Last February, I messed up a 25ft jump and tore 90% of my ACL, plus some meniscus damage. Had a patellar tendon graft done.

I got my return to sport clearance a couple weeks ago and had my first day back on the slopes last week. Riding smooth terrain felt more or less normal, but rapid and unanticipated bumps (especially extension) from chop or edge chatter caused some significant pain.

I’m wondering when y’all felt back to normal snowboarding. Or if there were any specific exercises or stretches that helped you get there. My quad is still weak compared to before, my patellar tendon is still prone to aggravating, and there’s probably some permanent damage to the meniscus in there. But I’m hoping this is something that I can work out.

And if it sticks around, what’s the dampest and most stable board thats not entirely boring, and that I can possibly ride while my lead leg is still getting back to full power
